They don`t usually keep us in but saying that :-( The 17.30 from leeds is a hard push with buses and i don`t think there will be any because there`s a bus strike. At a fast walk it will take you at least half an hour to get to the city centre. If not more!

A shorter time back to the station maybe acheivable .... running like hell to escape the fury of The Leeds Service Crew baying for blood after our 3-1 victory ;)

Any news on how well the tickets are going after the initial rush. Hope the club are vindicated in taking on the extra tickets again (Northampton as well).

I have booked into the Discovery - £40 double-room. No running for me. Sweet.

By the way, a useful site is

FootballHotels.co.uk.

In fact I think someone on here told me that.

In Tenerife this weekend for a bit of pre-Christmas sun, so a bar on the beach to see the scores... COYR

I'm sure you'll have a lovely time mate, but you're not going to Leeds, you don't know how many tickets we've sold, and no useful advice for those travelling, I really fail to see why people put these sort of posts on here. if everyone who wasn't going posted telling us where they'll be instead the whole thread would be completely pointless

temp -1 feels -7!!! woooaah :-)

Must remember to wear my thermals to keep me warm in the lovely North facing South East Stand they put the away fans in. Remember the last time we played there (3-0 to us!) and how cold it was towards the end of November. My teeth were chattering so hard it probably sounded like clapping to everyone else.

so whos watching the game in skins this week then ;)

I was going to, but it's been cloudy and even rained for 2 days here in Dubai, so my tan isn't up to scratch so I'll just have to keep my mewbs covered up

Was up last week (pointless really - slippery, dark and wet on the engine shed roof) but am now finished until the week beginning 11th Jan. After that we should be up for the following 6 weeks or so, so will catch up then if I don't see you at any match beforehand.

Looking forward to this. My mates decided that they would rather go on some sort of poncy fancy dress **** up then do Leeds away (morons) so it will be just me and my brother for this one. Not looking forward to the walk back to the station in sub zero temperatures, but that's what makes following Saints away so great: I remember Coventry away a few years ago (tuesday night game, Saga's first goal) it took a good 45 minutes to walk back/find my car and my brother and I almost walked straight onto the M6 by accident. Happy days!

It's a bit of a walk - advised to take the bus by my associates who regualrly train to Elland Road.

How on earth could that possibly be of any use to anyone?

Well, it shows that, despite all the drama surrounding the "OMGZ TICKETS HAVE SOLD OUT I BOUGHT SOME IN TEH LEEDS END" and the like, that tickets are still available, proven by the fact someone bought 3 just yesterday. HTH.

I'd rather be in Leeds watching my team playing to be honest.

Sod that, i'd rather be sat in bar next to the beach, pint in my hand, girls in bikinis walking by, watching SSN, than up at Leeds.

Go to a bar called Strikers Bar (reckon it's in costa adeje/purto colon side of Las Americas), it's great for the sport and for gambling addicts because a couple of birds run a bookmakers in their where you bet on the horses, footie etc. I know the bloke who runs it was on about retiring so it may be shut now, but if it's still their it's a real ****heads pub and it's great.

Quite right sir, owner was a miserable ****head with no stock, he even had to go to a minimarket to get me a Magners back in July, it's now closed, my folks came back 2 weeks ago and told me, it's either sold or just shut for the winter?

Plenty of tickets left, btw. I asked Mr Luker yesterday, he was very helpful as always.

Also, my ticket isn't in the corner!

I think we had already sold over 1300 by this time last week so would hope we have got close to 2000 by now. This was a game I was going to give a miss, but decided to go in the end, if there is anyone still thinking about it try and talk one of your group into driving and get some tickets. Would be good to have the full 2500 up there.

Townhillsaintsfan was only trying to help, as there was a fair bit of uncertainty as to whether tickets were available. He was just saying that there will still some available. You didn't have to have a go at him!!

Not really, it all depends on the individuals definition of "plenty" ;)

No, sorry, but assume it means 2-300 at least.

Cheers. Still reckon we'll end up very close to selling out, I know a fair few people who always leave it to the last minute to get their tickets.
