Saint_clark Posted 8 December, 2009 Posted 8 December, 2009 dam dam dam dam dam sold out! i realy want a ticket! whats the chance we will get more tickets? any 1 have a spare? pm if so would be a great help kelvin Surely you can get a comp? Leeds have no excuse not to give us the second allocation.
stevegrant Posted 8 December, 2009 Author Posted 8 December, 2009 I'm reliably informed that the reason the online ticket sales say "Sold Out" is because the additional 600 tickets have not yet arrived. The original 1100 have all been sold. Expecting the deadline for the full allocation to shift as a result...
Saint_clark Posted 8 December, 2009 Posted 8 December, 2009 Is it confirmed that we are being given a second allocation then?
Dan Posted 8 December, 2009 Posted 8 December, 2009 Sent the old dear down there today only to be told they were sold out!
Asaint4ever Posted 8 December, 2009 Posted 8 December, 2009 5 more tickets here waiting to get online u have a spare u wanna sell me?
stevegrant Posted 8 December, 2009 Author Posted 8 December, 2009 Is it confirmed that we are being given a second allocation then? The second allocation being the extra 600 to take us from 1100 to 1700, yes. Need to shift most of those 600 in the next day or two in order to get the full allocation though.
RedAndWhite91 Posted 8 December, 2009 Posted 8 December, 2009 If we do get the extra 1000 I think these will be behind the goal, Huddersfield had the corner + approximately 1000 behind the goal on saturday The tickets I got are in the South East Corner, upper tier. The cheese wedge as my Leeds supporting mate calls it. The area is SE3, which is the area closest to the stand behind the goal. I guess we've already sold SE1 and SE2 so any more allocations will either be the lower tier (if not already sold) or behind the goal.
Appy Posted 8 December, 2009 Posted 8 December, 2009 I think with the demand at the moment, it is fairly possible that we may leave Leeds no choice but to give us the remaining allocation.
Andy_Porter Posted 8 December, 2009 Posted 8 December, 2009 I think with the demand at the moment, it is fairly possible that we may leave Leeds no choice but to give us the remaining allocation. Hope so, taking over 2k to Leeds so close to Christmas would be a fantastic effort.
Asaint4ever Posted 8 December, 2009 Posted 8 December, 2009 im booking in leeds end with the old man now! so p!ssed off
RedAndWhite91 Posted 8 December, 2009 Posted 8 December, 2009 im booking in leeds end with the old man now! so p!ssed off You do know we are likely to get another allocation? http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1897942,00.html
stevegrant Posted 8 December, 2009 Author Posted 8 December, 2009 im booking in leeds end with the old man now! so p!ssed off Feel free to read the whole of this page again. There will be at least 600 more tickets available as soon as they arrive at the ticket office - may be later today, may be tomorrow, but there will be more tickets.
Asaint4ever Posted 8 December, 2009 Posted 8 December, 2009 You do know we are likely to get another allocation? http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1897942,00.html I spoke to ticket office and they said its unlikely.
stevegrant Posted 8 December, 2009 Author Posted 8 December, 2009 I spoke to ticket office and they said its unlikely. Unlikely that we will take the FULL allocation of 2800. We already have the second allocation of 600 (making a current total of 1700) on the way...
RedAndWhite91 Posted 8 December, 2009 Posted 8 December, 2009 I spoke to ticket office and they said its unlikely. What a load of ******** if true. We took more to Swindon on a Tuesday night. Leeds have a 40,000 capacity stadium and we're only allowed 1,700?! How very ****.

I didnt wanna risk missing the game as i have a hotel booked in leeds!
stevegrant Posted 8 December, 2009 Author Posted 8 December, 2009 I've come to the conclusion that people will read what they want to read and ignore helpful factual information just so they can have a whinge. Congratulations. Enjoy the game with your view of about 300 empty seats in the away end, wishing you'd not been bashing the keyboard so violently in a rage that the next batch of tickets were only "on their way".

SAFE_SAINT Posted 8 December, 2009 Posted 8 December, 2009 Spoke to the guy in the ticket office and he said there will be "plenty" of tickets tomorrow. No panic

SOLD OUT. Second allocation requested, and allocated. Second allocation = 600. Slight delay arriving. Will be on sale tomorrow. Third allocation = 1,500. Will only be requested if we look like selling out the second allocation very soon. Hence the guy at the ticket office saying that is 'unlikely.' Please god let that be clear enough.

ericofarabia Posted 8 December, 2009 Posted 8 December, 2009 How many did we take last season? LOL but they sold SFA at our place either
This Charming Man Posted 9 December, 2009 Posted 9 December, 2009 sorry Steve but surely if they were getting more then the TO would have told them that? Oh god, not another moron. I don't know how many times it will have to be said before people understand; WE WERE ALLOCATED 1,100 TICKETS, WE SOLD THEM, THE CLUB REQUESTED 600 MORE, THIS WAS CONFIRMED ON MONDAY, LEEDS ARE CURRENTLY SENDING THEM 600 TICKETS DOWN TO US. IT SAYS ALL THIS ON THE OS YOU COMPLETE AND UTTER IDIOTS.
trousers Posted 9 December, 2009 Posted 9 December, 2009 Why couldn't they take bookings for the 600 '2nd tranche' tickets before they arrived at SMS? It's not as if there was any risk in Leeds not sending them down once SFC had placed the order for more. That way they would have got to know whether needing a third tranche was looking likely much quicker. No?
SaintJackoInHurworth Posted 9 December, 2009 Posted 9 December, 2009 I spoke to the ticket office twice yesterday. The first person I spoke to said there would be tickets tomorrow (i.e. today). The second person said that this could not be guaranteed. This morning I rung to check again and I was told they didn't yet know if they would be getting a further allocation. They advised me to keep an eye on the website. So far I have hardly done any work today as I keep checking!! Aaagggghhh!!!

TBH This has become a bit of a farce, in that to get the 3rd tranche, we are supposed to have already sold-out the second. A bit difficult if they haven't arrived yet.

trousers Posted 9 December, 2009 Posted 9 December, 2009 (edited) And according to the OS, the deadline to decide whether to request the 3rd lot was yesterday, before they have even got the second batch. Indeed. Why oh why wait for the 2nd 600 to arrive before offering them for sale? There's no consumer law that prevents you taking money for a product that's 'not in stock'. Surely the extra 600 are 'guaranteed' the minute the order for them was placed rather than the moment at which they arrive at their destination? Edited 9 December, 2009 by trousers

adrian lord Posted 9 December, 2009 Posted 9 December, 2009 just bough a ticket over the phone. No sweat. It's gonna be a massive game. Anyone else on here travelling up from Norfolk?
RedAndWhite91 Posted 9 December, 2009 Posted 9 December, 2009 just bough a ticket over the phone. No sweat. It's gonna be a massive game. Anyone else on here travelling up from Norfolk? Big LOL @ Asaint4ever and his impulse buying of a ticket in the Leeds end.
ericofarabia Posted 9 December, 2009 Posted 9 December, 2009 Well if Mr Postman Pat does his job mine should be on their way to me soon, just ordered online, no probs (he says hoping that there won't be any probs!!)
adrian lord Posted 9 December, 2009 Posted 9 December, 2009 Big LOL @ Asaint4ever and his impulse buying of a ticket in the Leeds end. You may laugh -I actually watched the infamous Ali Dia game v Leeds in the Leeds section of the Dell...long story, woman related. Wasn't worth it either.
Whitey Grandad Posted 9 December, 2009 Posted 9 December, 2009 You may laugh -I actually watched the infamous Ali Dia game v Leeds in the Leeds section of the Dell...long story, woman related. Wasn't worth it either. Was she Ali Dia ?
adrian lord Posted 9 December, 2009 Posted 9 December, 2009 Was she Ali Dia ? I did wonder where she had dissappeared to for a section of the second half, coincident with Ali Dia's hapless cameo..........!
SaintJackoInHurworth Posted 9 December, 2009 Posted 9 December, 2009 Well, I've given up waiting for news on the website and just rang the ticket office. Sure enough, tickets were on sale, so I've bought my ticket. I also asked whether he knew if Saints had got or were going to get the final allocation of tickets. He told me the ticket I had bought was from the second (600) allocation of tickets and that they were nearly sold out. He didn't know for sure, but he was of the opinion that they probably wouldn't get another allocation of tickets. So.. if you are planning to get a ticket I would be ringing fairly soon or you will miss out!!
dune Posted 9 December, 2009 Posted 9 December, 2009 If anyone does decide, or is forced, to sit with the Leeds fans join me in block F23.
