Leeds Away Ticket Info - full allocation taken

If we do get the extra 1000 I think these will be behind the goal, Huddersfield had the corner + approximately 1000 behind the goal on saturday

The tickets I got are in the South East Corner, upper tier. The cheese wedge as my Leeds supporting mate calls it. The area is SE3, which is the area closest to the stand behind the goal. I guess we've already sold SE1 and SE2 so any more allocations will either be the lower tier (if not already sold) or behind the goal.

Feel free to read the whole of this page again. There will be at least 600 more tickets available as soon as they arrive at the ticket office - may be later today, may be tomorrow, but there will be more tickets.

What a load of ******** if true. We took more to Swindon on a Tuesday night. Leeds have a 40,000 capacity stadium and we're only allowed 1,700?! How very ****.

apparently high demand's from leeds fans! its a cat A, i paid fecking £32 for my tick to sit next to a bunch of northen pikies. I didnt wanna risk missing the game as i have a hotel booked in leeds!

I've come to the conclusion that people will read what they want to read and ignore helpful factual information just so they can have a whinge.

Congratulations. Enjoy the game with your view of about 300 empty seats in the away end, wishing you'd not been bashing the keyboard so violently in a rage that the next batch of tickets were only "on their way".

Initial allocation = 1,100. SOLD OUT. Second allocation requested, and allocated.

Second allocation = 600. Slight delay arriving. Will be on sale tomorrow.

Third allocation = 1,500. Will only be requested if we look like selling out the second allocation very soon. Hence the guy at the ticket office saying that is 'unlikely.'

Please god let that be clear enough.

sorry Steve but surely if they were getting more then the TO would have told them that?

Oh god, not another moron.

I don't know how many times it will have to be said before people understand;

WE WERE ALLOCATED 1,100 TICKETS, WE SOLD THEM, THE CLUB REQUESTED 600 MORE, THIS WAS CONFIRMED ON MONDAY, LEEDS ARE CURRENTLY SENDING THEM 600 TICKETS DOWN TO US. IT SAYS ALL THIS ON THE OS YOU COMPLETE AND UTTER IDIOTS.

Why couldn't they take bookings for the 600 '2nd tranche' tickets before they arrived at SMS? It's not as if there was any risk in Leeds not sending them down once SFC had placed the order for more.

That way they would have got to know whether needing a third tranche was looking likely much quicker.

No?

I spoke to the ticket office twice yesterday. The first person I spoke to said there would be tickets tomorrow (i.e. today). The second person said that this could not be guaranteed.

This morning I rung to check again and I was told they didn't yet know if they would be getting a further allocation. They advised me to keep an eye on the website.

So far I have hardly done any work today as I keep checking!! Aaagggghhh!!!

Much too sensible. TBH This has become a bit of a farce, in that to get the 3rd tranche, we are supposed to have already sold-out the second. A bit difficult if they haven't arrived yet.

And according to the OS, the deadline to decide whether to request the 3rd lot was yesterday, before they have even got the second batch.

Indeed. Why oh why wait for the 2nd 600 to arrive before offering them for sale? There's no consumer law that prevents you taking money for a product that's 'not in stock'. Surely the extra 600 are 'guaranteed' the minute the order for them was placed rather than the moment at which they arrive at their destination?

Well, I've given up waiting for news on the website and just rang the ticket office. Sure enough, tickets were on sale, so I've bought my ticket.

I also asked whether he knew if Saints had got or were going to get the final allocation of tickets. He told me the ticket I had bought was from the second (600) allocation of tickets and that they were nearly sold out. He didn't know for sure, but he was of the opinion that they probably wouldn't get another allocation of tickets.

So.. if you are planning to get a ticket I would be ringing fairly soon or you will miss out!!
