Just curious.

When my iPhone deal runs out, would I be able to discontinue the contract, get an O2 sim only deal (with unlimited Internet) and get the exact same service from my iPhone? Or is there something that having a contract and paying £35 a month giving me that a sim deal won't?

Everything else, apart from Visual Voicemail, works as normal. It's what I do with a £20 simplicity SIM and the unlimited net bolt-on.

I have the simplicity deal from O2 - £20 a month 600 minutes, 1000 texts, unlimited internet (which is also Blackberry Data Services for me)

just had a look at that....looks a good deal..

one of the Bolt ons was unlimited WiFi...I thought WiFi was a feature on the phone..? as I use WiFi at home with my wireless router to down load stuff on my phone...would I get charged for this on a sim only deal..?

You don't get charged for using your own Broadband. I believe the WiFi feature mentioned there is the BT Opencloud thing that's all over London and a few other cities too. I haven't checked that out as I live in the sticks so it's pointless.
