Legod Third Coming Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 psychologically every saints win is pushing the team further and further... it is not just about 3 points but about momentum and confidence... if the players get off the pitch tonight and find out they have shot up the table... tell me that isnt going to have a VERY positive effect on the team? Good point.
pilsburydoughboy Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Okay - so we are Saints after all. Cue a 90th minute Walsall penalty & sqeaky bum time then for the additional 3 minutes added! stop with negative waves moriarty

Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Okay - so we are Saints after all. Cue a 90th minute Walsall penalty & sqeaky bum time then for the additional 3 minutes added! That'll do, 3-2 was 20/1, 3-1 was a measly 16/1...

Thedelldays Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Print and frame, please. been saying as much all season
NY Saint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 We've scored twice as many goals this season as to the same point last season. We're winning games and creating chances handsomely and for the first time in many years I'm really enjoying listening to Saints games (despite the iPlayer nonsense). COYY
Saint Fan CaM Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 psychologically every saints win is pushing the team further and further... it is not just about 3 points but about momentum and confidence... if the players get off the pitch tonight and find out they have shot up the table... tell me that isnt going to have a VERY positive effect on the team? Personally I think it could have a huge psychological effect on the team such that they will be very positive.
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 This commentator today has been a lot better than Solent's usual cack, well done that man!
gjphilsaint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Personally I think it could have a huge psychological effect on the team such that they will be very positive. er?
SO16_Saint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Surely Warnock will be sacked tomorrow? you would think. Losing 3-0 at home, not good.
trousers Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 psychologically every saints win is pushing the team further and further... it is not just about 3 points but about momentum and confidence... if the players get off the pitch tonight and find out they have shot up the table... tell me that isnt going to have a VERY positive effect on the team? Someone should be educating them about the positive effect of closing the gap on our rivals higher up the table
benjii Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 I know, I was saying as much on the prematch thread. We need teams like Norwich, Bristol, MK Don's etc to be losing. I'd rather be stuck in the bottom half until March, then go flying up into 5th place in the last few weeks. Exactly, that's the principle. Norwich, I bracket with Leeds and Charlton though as teams I want to win every week as I don't think we will catch up with them. MK Dons, Briz, Swindon, Huddersfield, Colchester etc though we should be hoping lose, even if it means we stay behind the likes of Orient et al. If anyone still thinks we need to be looking over our shoulders after the run we've been on then they need to have a good look at themselves!! We have a chance of making the play-offs but we will need some of those play-off fringe teams to have a dip in form.
Toadhall Saint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 stop with negative waves moriarty Woof Woof!
CanadaSaint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 been saying as much all season I wasn't referring to the prediction, but to you calling someone a "negative ****". It tickled my fancy.

Thedelldays Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Not early on in the season you weren't....you were moaning we "should" be getting in the playoffs, but Pardew was "hopeless" or words to that effect.
