Joesaint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Wotton has done well this season! Good at what he does (not passing but beaking up play)
CanadaSaint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 No, unless you were being bearist? Not guilty, m'Lud.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 He's done a good job lately IMO he doesnt fill me with confidence. BWP used to stay 'on side' sometimes
Saint Fan CaM Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Wotton on - should be a good sub to mess up their midfield play. Could be very good move by AP.
trousers Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 only 35 mins played apparently. Not true. We're well into the second half now...
gjphilsaint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Wotton on - should be a good sub to mess up their midfield play. Could be very good move by AP. you think so? hmm wonder why I didnt think of that!!
Glasgow_Saint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 didnt think id be excited to see saints 17th in L1
trousers Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 swindon 2-1 vs Orient We don't want Swindon to win! FFS :-)
St Will Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 didnt think id be excited to see saints 17th in L1 16th now as it stands ;-)
martyg1950 Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Walsall will be sick, they coulda gone 5th today
Thedelldays Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 didnt think id be excited to see saints 17th in L1 we are going up you negative ****...get with the programme
benjii Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Why do some people want teams who we will be batlling with for promotion to win today so that we can be 18th rather than 19th, for example? Utterly demented and short sighted.
SO16_Saint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 didnt think id be excited to see saints 17th in L1 how about 16th?
gjphilsaint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 eyes on exeter and yeovil now for a perfect day!!

Johnny Shearer Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 I would rather have Orient win over Swindon. As Swindon will be around the play-offs come the end of the season. But other than that - get in Saints!
grammy Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 A real ding dong tussle there... "Ding dong Merrington on high"
iansums Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Swindon get in! Why are you getting so excited about this? Swindon are one of the play-off teams we are chasing. Big deal if we are 16th or 17th at the end of today. Bigger picture anyone?
Arizona Posted 5 December, 2009 Author Posted 5 December, 2009 Why do some people want teams who we will be batlling with for promotion to win today so that we can be 18th rather than 19th, for example? Utterly demented and short sighted. I know, I was saying as much on the prematch thread. We need teams like Norwich, Bristol, MK Don's etc to be losing. I'd rather be stuck in the bottom half until March, then go flying up into 5th place in the last few weeks.
CanadaSaint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 I think this commentator's playing some kind of buzzword bingo. He bet someone that he could slot words like "ubiquitous", "genuflected" and "inclement" into a footy commentary. I'd prefer "all over the place", "thought about it" and "p*ssing down".
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 I could REALLY do with Saints shutting up shop and seeing the game out. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE stay at 3-1, I could really do with an extra £80 this month.

I think you're right. what a knob
.comsaint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Okay - so we are Saints after all. Cue a 90th minute Walsall penalty & sqeaky bum time then for the additional 3 minutes added!
Jimmy_D Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 eyes on exeter and yeovil now for a perfect day!! would be quite happy to see Yeovil take points off MK Dons tbh... we ARE in a promotion race now, first time this season I've believed it though
Legod Third Coming Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Why are you getting so excited about this? Swindon are one of the play-off teams we are chasing. Big deal if we are 16th or 17th at the end of today. Bigger picture anyone? Nah, we will catch Swindon as sure as Paul Collingwood.

Big deal if we are 16th or 17th at the end of today. Bigger picture anyone? Don't underestimate the effect on the team with a big month on the way to be further and further away from that drop zone monkey that was on oput=r backs for so long
gjphilsaint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 psychologically every saints win is pushing the team further and further... it is not just about 3 points but about momentum and confidence... if the players get off the pitch tonight and find out they have shot up the table... tell me that isnt going to have a VERY positive effect on the team?
JustMike Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 "what he lacks in inches he makes up for in heart" - Chris Perry, wonder if his missus thinks the same
