ericofarabia Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 (edited) Thought I'd give it a bit of a viewing hoping to see another home defeat. First of all having a jolly good laugh at all the empty blue seats around the ground, but after a few minutes had to turn the sound off (or put my boot thru my brand new TV) .... the constant banging of fukkin drums is even worse than the sound of that bellringing **** :smt074 Then the blind **** of a ref gives Pimply the most diabolical penalty decision you're likely to see (it was only 6 feet from him) but luckily normal service was resumed and yet another Pomps penalty was saved. Come on burnley especially Wade Elliot. LOL Title should read Skatesmyth !! Edited 5 December, 2009 by ericofarabia
Baj Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Wade was mugged by the ref for that Pompey pen, glad they didnt score.
Red Alert Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Just seen it, what a terrible decision for the pen. Glad they didnt score that, and what a rubbish header from the rebound.
St Will Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Portsmouth are truly terrible. Isn's it great!
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 I honestly think we could give them a serious run for their money if we got them in the cup...
Red Alert Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 (edited) How can they be allowed the big mounds in the goal mouths? Its something I have oft wondered. I mean it must make a difference to the run of the ball. Lol at Andy Gray saying there is a lot of empty seats. 1-0 Edited 5 December, 2009 by Red Alert
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 O I don't ****ing believe it, you jammy skate ****s! Andy Gray by the way making excuses for poor attendence as it's the festive season: Bull**** IMO. It's a MASSIVE match for that lot and there is no excuse for those empty seats!
the colonel Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 blimey, burnley really are ****e. yes but still look better than skates. but that isnt difficult.
Crab Lungs Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Take Jamie O'Hara out and I honestly think there isn't much to them. He appears to be a bit of a driving force...
ericofarabia Posted 5 December, 2009 Author Posted 5 December, 2009 17822 there .... at least 2000 Burnley i reckon. LOL
aintforever Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Portsmouth were awful, if Burnley had any end product at all they would have won that easy. The skates actually look worse now than they did under Hart IMO, at least then they looked quite tough to break down.
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 (edited) Wolves won! Situation back to normal at Farton Crap http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/default.stm Edited 5 December, 2009 by EastleighSoulBoy
benjii Posted 5 December, 2009 Posted 5 December, 2009 Shame Wolves won as they will go down. Would have been good if Bolton had won instead.
Psycrow Posted 7 December, 2009 Posted 7 December, 2009 Am I the only one that really thinks Hreidarrson didn't actually dive? 100% on the Ref's shoulders?
Al de Man Posted 7 December, 2009 Posted 7 December, 2009 Am I the only one that really thinks Hreidarrson didn't actually dive? 100% on the Ref's shoulders? I think you have a point. It looked like HH lost his footing and the replays I saw didn't continue for particularly long afterwards but it didn't look like he made any sort of appeal. MOTD doesn't appear to be available on the iPlayer.
Minty Posted 7 December, 2009 Posted 7 December, 2009 HH admitted afterwards that it wasn't a penalty.
stevegrant Posted 7 December, 2009 Posted 7 December, 2009 HH admitted afterwards that it wasn't a penalty. The Thierry Henry defence, then...
Psycrow Posted 7 December, 2009 Posted 7 December, 2009 HH admitted afterwards that it wasn't a penalty. I saw that Minty, that doesn't mean he didn't dive on the day though... part of the argument I'm having with a mate. Looking at the incident though, it was never a dive to me
stevegrant Posted 7 December, 2009 Posted 7 December, 2009 I think in the interview he said something like "I thought there was going to be contact so I went down, but when I realised there wasn't any contact I tried to stop myself and get up again". Because that makes it alright then...
