I've been going on about him on here for a few years now. Wow. Just got back from watching him at the guildhall. He really is something else. Without doubt the greatest living guitarist. Did anyone else go tonight? There were quite a few there. This was my third time watching him and every time I can't help but stare open mouthed at his genius. Just phenomenal.

Amazing technique and flair, but I guess I like my guitar playing to convey more of the tune than the demonstration. Yes, I am in total awe of TE's phenomenal skill, but I couldn't listen to him for more than half an hour.

It depends what type of songs he's playing st landrew. I agree his aboriginee stuff doesn't do it for me but he did a couple of duets which were really tuneful. When he uses every part of the guitar it's just amazing. Maybe I just haven't seen enough people but I've never heard a guitar sound the way he makes it sound

Yeah, I can see what you mean. There's no doubt that there would be a few tunes he plays that are to my taste. Of course, if you want guitar overload, you can always check out Candyrat Records, who seem to be brimming full with virtuoso players. Here's a link to several mini performances: http://www.youtube.com/user/rpoland
