The FA have told the Echo there is 'no chance' of the England 2018 bid team allowing the City to join the race. Todays Echo front page and page 2.

aintforever Posted 4 December, 2009 Posted 4 December, 2009 Would have been nice but would have been a lot of fuss for at the most 3 games, unless we are doing OK in the Prem a 40,000 seater would just be a waste of money. I couldn't give a monkeys if the World Cup comes to England or not, tickets would be so expensive I would probably only watch it all on TV anyway, might as well be in Russia for all I care.

He's being pedantic. I know full well that it wasn't the FL's fault we got relegated. Glasgow Saint said it was the FA's fault, basically implying that it was them that gave us -10 points and got us relegated. I was pointing out that it wasn't the FA, it was the FL.....but I know full well that that wasn't the reason why we got relegated. Why are people so thick?!

So, to summarise, It is Harry Redknapps fault that England wont get the 2018 WC. Is that clear?

Is it perhaps that (a) we are Swiss-owned business so restricting commercial opportunities and (b) we no longer have Rupert Lowe's influence who was a big-hitter at GHQ at one time.
