Smirking_Saint Posted 3 December, 2009 Share Posted 3 December, 2009 Being his usual moaning, pathetic, sore-losing self i see. Ran down the tunnell in order to avoid shaking hands with Mark Hughes. Sparky obviously riled him when he ran into wengers managerial box to knock the ball back but still.

RedAndWhite91 Posted 3 December, 2009 Share Posted 3 December, 2009 Great video, and it couldn't be any more relevant to what happened last night with the whole hand shaking business. "He's always gonna look ludicrous refusing to shake someone's hand" I'm going to favourite that video, Pardew is a hero.
alpine_saint Posted 4 December, 2009 Share Posted 4 December, 2009 Pardew was laying it on a bit thick, though. Wenger is a prize tw*t who has actually won sod-all. I do not know why he is so rated. I especially love the "I didnt see it" comments when his team do something naughty, but he sees everything the opposition do.

He was manager of a team that went unbeaten throughout the whole of a season in the modern era Turned Henry into the best foward in the world. Won the double twice Yeah I cant see why he is so "rated"

alpine_saint Posted 4 December, 2009 Share Posted 4 December, 2009 Arsenal havent won a single thing at European level, and have barely broken the dominance of ManYoo for the Premiership title. Beating clubs like Saints in the FA Cup is chickensh*t for a club like Arsenal.

Beating clubs like Saints in the FA Cup is chickensh*t for a club like Arsenal. only a very few selection of clubs in the modern era win the champions league...chelsea still have not broken the dominance of man yoo and they have spent hundreds of millions.... just because arsenal have not won the european cup, that does not mean wenger is poor...he is easily one of the best managers in world football... if he was available top, top elite clubs world wide would want him if they were thinking of change...including his own country and probably many others. he eye for a player is really remarkable and just for turning Henry into of the greatest forwards for a generation is legendary status alone. didnt they beat man yoo in a cup final...is that chickhen feed..? The Majestic Channon Posted 4 December, 2009 Share Posted 4 December, 2009 So 3 premier league titles and wining the fa cup 4 times is winning nothing ? I like wenger both as a manager and a person, i would love to see how many honours arsenal would have if he was given a open cheque book like the various chelsea managers have had. **** hughes, citeh will never be one of the big five til they sack him IMO. saint_stevo Posted 5 December, 2009 Share Posted 5 December, 2009 Creates the best footballing teams ever, throughout the whole club, his players can play. Glad Jack Wilshere is there tbh, think by 2018 (W.C in england?) he could be very very important to us
Bentley Posted 5 December, 2009 Share Posted 5 December, 2009 Wengers laughing to the bank with the profit he got from selling Toure and Adebayor to Hughes, while he bought Vermaelen. Who is far, far better than Toure.
Smirking_Saint Posted 5 December, 2009 Author Share Posted 5 December, 2009 Have to agree with the other sentiments, don't get me wrong, i still think he is a grumpy old f*cker, having saind that. Sorry alpine, Wenger is one of the finest managers to grace the premiership, and arsenal are easily one of the teams that i would pay good money to go and watch. Pretty, quick, technical, and all from a team that are still pretty young. He took a team unbeaten to the premier league title (mental that really, 38 games !!) Won countless F.A cups, and also had a team in the european finals. Honestly, if european championship gold is the real sign of a decent manager then benitez should be king, unfortunately it is still a cup competition, a real team is all about endurance, and for all of benitez' fantastic champions league runs, i would not say he is a good manager. Trader Posted 6 December, 2009 Share Posted 6 December, 2009 Thing is, Wenger's remarkable managerial record has been achieved on a relative shoestring - his eye for potential in a player is second to none. He spends less than many Premiership managers but still retains top 4 consistently. Genius, but French. You can't have it all!
St Landrew Posted 6 December, 2009 Share Posted 6 December, 2009 He's French - arrogant and belittling by innate conditioning. Most French people are slimy ****s. Do you know I've never found that in my personal encounters with French people. It has been very much the case that they are kind and courteous, and occasionally it is English people who are more likely to be rude and ill-mannered. For example, the ill-informed and generalising post above. But aside from that, Wenger may well be a bad loser, a tag he shares with Ferguson. But he is also a very great football manager. Arsenal are very lucky to have him.
