Red Alert Posted 4 December, 2009 Author Share Posted 4 December, 2009 Haha, Scottish. It should be written into FIFA rules that we should get drawn against them in every world cup or euros qualifying group. They would still moan we had an easy group. St Landrew Posted 4 December, 2009 Share Posted 4 December, 2009 The only time Charlize Theron kept her gob almost shut was when the selection of France was made. She made some comment about the less being said, or something alike. Otherwise, it was... am I the only person [celebrity] who's really nervous..? Or... a big hand for the helpers, didn't they do a great job..? I would say words fail me, but I've already written a few.

Group H- Spain, Switzerland, Honduras, Chile My predictions. Big "shock" will be Argentina to go out in the 1st round with just 1 point (draw against S.Korea). They were absolutely TERRIBLE in qualifying. Chile and Paraguay will get through, both are better teams than Argentina by far at the moment... FRANCE AND MEXICO NIGERIA AND GREECE ENGLAND AND USA GERMANY AND GHANA HOLLAND AND DENMARK ITALY AND PARAGUAY BRAZIL AND IVORY COAST SPAIN AND CHILE Brazil, England or Spain will win the whole thing. Hope it's England, if not, then Brazil. Edited 4 December, 2009 by syd_barrett_saint

Johnny Shearer Posted 4 December, 2009 Share Posted 4 December, 2009 I don't think England's group is that easy. USA are a motivated side and Slovenia did beat Russia in the play-offs. Spain and Italy have got easier groups I reckon.

Verbal Posted 4 December, 2009 Share Posted 4 December, 2009 From the way the New york Times tells it, the Americans think they've got it pretty easy too. There's even the merest hint that they'll turn us, and our 'incessant long ball game', over. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/05/sports/soccer/05draw.html?hp

Jimmy_D Posted 5 December, 2009 Share Posted 5 December, 2009 It'll be a long long time before we get a better chance than this to win a World Cup... Held in winter, the quality in the England team is very high, we have a fantastic manager that can actually get that quality to show itself, and a draw that's about as kind as it can be all the way to the final... Hopefully with Capello that sort of thing will be firmly stamped out by the time the cup comes round.
