Lallana plays alot further forward than Schneiderlin. It isn't really in his brief to be getting in loads of shots each match. As nice at it would be for him to be scoring, his role in the overall team strategy is very different to Lallana's and changing it may unbalance the team.

No james was shocking tonight as he is every game. Why do you like him? He hasnt got any pace isnt skillful, positional sense is dreadful. He can cross occasionally, but I want him out of the team. He is rubbish.

 

Are you talking about Lloyd James or the plonker David James from you know where ?

Morgan on form keeps us ticking over, he is a v good technical player at this level but I would like to see more end product from him in terms of gaols and assists in the final third occasionally.

I just don't think he is any good, sorry. I have watched James and I think he is very poor. That's my opinion. I think Morgan is class and that papa played well other than the offsides. I would have James out of team and think he is a player like telfer and j wright that gets picked for no reason

 

Where in fact they get picked because the manager trusts them to do a job in more than one position.

Superb tonight. Great passing and some crucial tackles, more of the same please!

 

Personally I thought he was Fernandes without the circles in the first half and Wotton without the heading or lack of ability to change direction in the second.

 

A few decent tackles, a lot of safe possession stuff, nothing remotely exciting, creative or interesting. I thought we already had Wotton and Hammond for sideways passing and Lloyd James along with those two for kicking people ?

I enjoyed reading this bit:
