saintds Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 Team News They will not be pushovers, as their recent results suggest. They've won in their last two outings, including a victory at Millwall. Having said that, we're confident and free scoring so I expect a win but not a clean sheet.
Saints67 Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 I'm fairly sure this has been done to death on other threads so apologies in advance. it says on the OS that Trotman is back in after his suspension. How can this be when his parent club would not let him play in the FA Cup so technically I would have thought his suspension would then have carried over to the WW game?

Window Cleaner Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 I think PNE did give permission for Trotman to play in the cup knowing full well that he couldn't play, just a helping hand to get his suspension cleared off in a match he wouldn't have played in anyway.

brianoneils slidingtackle Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 Should be goals in the game, we will score more than three goals, but how many will wycombe score Any idea on ticket sales, I dont expect a big crowd for this game, 16 - 17K I guess.
Toomer Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 Wycombe generally concede a lot of goals, we will win 7-1 What are the odds, I might just want to get on that, having said that I will stick to 3-1.
St Will Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 It is going to be FREEZING!!! Wrap up y'all!
St Will Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 Btw, am I right in thinking that if you pitch up before the game to buy tickets, they don't let you choose where you want to sit?
Smirking_Saint Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 4-5-1 please guys. Adam, more of the same. Comfortable win i think, but i wouldn't bet on a clean sheet. 3-1 again. Lallana, Spiderman, Lambert
Saint_clark Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 Btw, am I right in thinking that if you pitch up before the game to buy tickets, they don't let you choose where you want to sit? As long as they're available, you can sit where you like. Northam is normally sold out about an hour before kick off though.

Don't know, probably about 100/1 5-1 seems to be about 55/1 or something like that, then again i don't really understand bookies web sites. Can't believe that they're being so generous as Wycombe really do get hammered a lot, although not in the last 2 games, then again we do score a lot of goals..

Gradually, the Kingsland/Northam corner is filling up which is forming a much needed physical link between the the noisy/singing supporters in the Kingsland and the Northam choir. There are plenty of seats right at the top and the view is brilliant. You seem like an emotional chap who might like to exercise the old lungs so don't go half way down the Kingsland, come and join the action! ps There is no dress code and you don't get tutted at if your swear.

I used to always sit in block 37, but my girlfriend likes the be in the middle of the Kingsland for the view. I loved it in 37, but she doesn't like being in the corner....thinks it's too far to the goal at the other end. :-(
Saint Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 I'm confident of a decent win, probably our trademark 3-1 victory. Sure they've had a decent run, if a decent run is 2 wins in a row. They're rock bottom for a reason.

sad saints fan Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 Cant be there tomorrow (just out of hospital)but will glued to the radio. Two nil Saints(lalana one in each half) and the start of the clean sheets.

Haha I assure you I'm not wealthy, you have to be European Tour/PGA Tour to be rolling in it....I'm not there....yet I don't mind being at the half way line to be fair. The view IS good, can't argue with that, but the atmosphere isn't as good. And you get the odd ***** right at the back making a fool of himself and cuz it's quiet, all you can hear is them :-)

Arizona Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 Mellis and Waigo instead of Schneiderlin and Antonio? Interesting... I prefer Antonio as a sub. Scheiderlin has disappointed me a bit in recent games. At Northants I thought he should have made hay against such poor opposition, but never really made much of an impact. I'd like to see Mellis given a try out. You don't get into Chelsea's youth team with toblerone feet and he might just add a bit of spark in the centre. Is Connolly fit though? Last I heard was Pardew's interview on Saturday saying he was going to be a 'doubt for Tuesday?' I know, I was assuming he was fit. I not, I'd go with Lallana playing off Rickie and Mills on the left.
corsacar saint Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 As long as we are not complacent we should win, however the last two league results they have had, should make sure AP has us in the right frame of mind.

TBF I thought Mellis looked quite sharp when he came on against Norwich, so maybe a good shout.
opthomps Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 when people predict a goal fest matches tend to disappoint in general. That said 55 goals in the last 13 saints matches is hard to ignore. I predict 2-1. Would be nice to see connelly back on the scoresheet.
Saint 76er Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 Haha I assure you I'm not wealthy, you have to be European Tour/PGA Tour to be rolling in it....I'm not there....yet Well, when you are there I hope you will, Will, be wearing your Saints shirt when they hand you that cup thingy at Augusta and I certainly hope you won't let them put that awful green jacket (such a fashion disaster) over the glorious red and white stripes you will be proudly displaying to the world...

Just watched the extended highlights on Saints Player and noticed the sublime outside of the boot volleyed pass from MS to AL in the build up to the first goal. Quality. Know what you mean though. I must try to watch individuals more during matches but i'm too busy watching the ball!!
nickfinks Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 Well we will score 3, prob let in 1 - 3-1 it is then
SO16_Saint Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 what are the ticket prices tomorrow? I find the OS really bloody confusing!
ribbo Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 we'll win, at least by 1, i want Morgan to score, he's due one and i think it will raise his game

Matthew Le God Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 (edited) what are the ticket prices tomorrow? I find the OS really bloody confusing! The prices are the same for every League game. This is easy to find under the ticket tab on the OS. Hardly confusing. ericofarabia Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 Aren't most wins by at least one? Normally, but what about our 2-2 win over Torquay

Lallana, Schneiderlin, Hammond and whoever is playing on the right wing seem to have more license to attack. I'd like to see Hammond or James play that role rather than Wotton with Mellis added into midfield. Connolly on the bench for the time being.

AP is likely to keep faith in the players who have played in recent winning games.
S-Clarke Posted 30 November, 2009 Posted 30 November, 2009 Why wouldn't Waigo start? He tends to make things happen, whether he means it or not. He hasn't been brilliant, but he's scored quite a few goals. Deserves a run of games IMO. Antonio just doesn't seem as good. At least not yet. I agree with Papa starting. He hasn't set the world alight, but he's got that unpredictability about his game - the oppo don't even know what he'll do next!
