Who would you like in round 3?

Brentford away. As think we were meant to be playing there that day anyway I have no idea if they are still in it or I am correct on my dates)

Would rather not Pompey as they are still Prem League and I don't like the thought of losing.

And if we are not going to win it, then a trip to Arsenal

Any lower league club at SMS to guarantee 4th round tie.

Then another home drew agaiunst a League 1 side at SMS.

Then a home tie against a Championship side

A 6th round tie against a minnow at theirs

A semi final against a Championship side

Wembley against Man U - for another upset...

The only problem is I can't see enough lower league sides complying with my wishes!

what I mean - they cant even fill their crap stadium now - why would any of their fans travel to see them get HAMMERED at St.Marys : )

4,000 of them would turn up just to have "potential" fight more than anything.

Most away fans hardly watch the game and just play silly games of taunting with the "hardcore" home fans next to them.

If home fans in the Northam were really there to watch the game you wouldn't have a season ticket to sit behind the goal(where you have an awful view) and mainly look at the away fans rather than the pitch for most of the game.

As I am not around on 2 Jan any lower league side home or away, or failing that an away draw to a PL or CCC side.

I am back for any replay at SMS, mind.

From what I hear you need co come home before Dubai comes crashing down around you, Eric.

But then that could be another media-hype-induced overstatement!...?

I'm always astonished by people who want to get beaten at home to the Skates. It's like an anual tradition every time the 3rd round draw is made. Yes they are a crap Premier League outfit, but I'd still fancy them over most CCC and League 1 outfits. We're not even the best team in L1.

I wouldn't mind a trip to the Emirates, even though that is a nailed on loss. Bristol City would be good for georaphical reasons. Lincoln would be another, just being my sort-of home town club. Failing that, any Prem outfit (except Pompey) at home, just to get a decent crowd, which may boost our league attendances if we get a decent game.
