Gordon Mockles Posted 26 November, 2009 Posted 26 November, 2009 Quick & simple thread - Has anyone had a call from the club regarding a deal for Saints player for £4.99 until 30.01.10? Recently, I've had a telephone call from the club quoting my user name & password hint (which I didn't give out) but wanted to check with other fans for security purposes. The company were 'Perform' (I think, didn't quite catch it). Just struck me as mildly suspicious when I asked for a name & *details & the call was quickly closed off. Maybe because they realised they weren't getting the money there and then (& a huge database of fans to call!) but I thought it worth checking with fellow fans.

daveygwyatt Posted 26 November, 2009 Posted 26 November, 2009 had a call today from someone on a withheld number claiming to be from sfc, offered same deal, again call ended quickly when I said was not interested in £4.99 deal and was aware of saints player and would subscribe later .

After last week's (start late, end early, keep cutting out) sh*t-show I tried e-mailing Solent on the basis that they open and close the feed, but I haven't heard back. But things improved a lot, for me at least, for the Hartlepools game.

To be fair to them though they refunded witthin a day following a snotty e-mail.
Deano6 Posted 26 November, 2009 Posted 26 November, 2009 I got an email from the Saints Player saying they were upgrading the service to allow me to listen to the commentary of any match, not just Saints, via the service. Made me laugh as I've been doing that for months anyway. The email contained my username and password hint.
Croydon Saint Posted 26 November, 2009 Posted 26 November, 2009 It is Legit- Perform are the service provider for the new Saints Player and also run and manage Saintsfc.co.uk. They have an exclusive deal with FLI for all Football League Clubs. Hope that helps

It usually says on there the date your subscription starts, mine didn't for about 3 weeks after I paid for it.
MorningtonCrescent Posted 27 November, 2009 Posted 27 November, 2009 Exactly what happened to me ditto here. £4.99 for two months, cancelled after one week, with the promise that I would have access for the full two months, then they took the full years subs.... crappy e-mail to them sorted it in a day or so. the product really does need to be a LOT better for the full £39.99 per year they are asking!
