Saint Posted 26 November, 2009 Posted 26 November, 2009 Will be good to see. I watched Bristol Rovers on Iraqgoals and the quality was better than i could have expected.
opthomps Posted 26 November, 2009 Posted 26 November, 2009 ditto, i watched brighton online, and it was great except the result, hope it will be on again. Techonolgy is amazing to get access to these

Draino76 Posted 26 November, 2009 Posted 26 November, 2009 I'm cancelling Sky sports as a result of P2P football. I am not funding Portsmouth anymore.
dubai_phil Posted 26 November, 2009 Posted 26 November, 2009 Will we need sopcast or tv ants or will it be on a straight link?
Draino76 Posted 26 November, 2009 Posted 26 November, 2009 I'm cancelling Sky sports as a result of P2P football. I am not funding Portsmouth anymore. Done. Monthly bill reduced from £40.50 to £22.00.
SKATE_HATE Posted 26 November, 2009 Author Posted 26 November, 2009 Will we need sopcast or tv ants or will it be on a straight link? sopcast is by far the best
The9 Posted 26 November, 2009 Posted 26 November, 2009 Done. Monthly bill reduced from £40.50 to £22.00. I did it in July, got Virgin media for the phone and ISPness only. Just as well, as they were 'king useless setting me up... they throttle bandwidth from 5:30pm-ish too, but still plenty to get along with, as long as I'm not downloading lots of stuff, watching streamed footy and playing Xbox360 at the same time... Gambol2K9 Posted 26 November, 2009 Posted 26 November, 2009 Yeah I'm the same watch all my football online now, sod paying £40 a month to Sky. The quality of Sopcast feeds is usually decent enough, plus the £40 saving means I can afford to go to more Saints games.

Saint2Hotty Posted 28 November, 2009 Posted 28 November, 2009 Was looking at my Paddypower bets this morning, and it said next to it that the game was on tv. Can anyone shed any light on this?
SKATE_HATE Posted 28 November, 2009 Author Posted 28 November, 2009 Was looking at my Paddypower bets this morning, and it said next to it that the game was on tv. Can anyone shed any light on this? They will pronbanly stream it on their site but think as it'w 3om kick off it is only viewable by those outside uk
Ewell Posted 28 November, 2009 Posted 28 November, 2009 It says that the game is scheduled for live broadcast but I cannot find details on the FA site of how you can pick this up! It says the Carlisle v Norwich game is on FATV will our game be the same? It really is not 100% clear if it is or how you pick this up! http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/FACompetitions/TheFACup/Live.aspx In any case I am playing football anyway so does not really affect me. Hopefully someone else will be able to find out so others can benefit anyway.
ericofarabia Posted 28 November, 2009 Posted 28 November, 2009 They will pronbanly stream it on their site but think as it'w 3om kick off it is only viewable by those outside uk That would be a nice change, after all the stuff such as 5 Live, Virgin, BBC Highlights and all the local radio stations that we can't get for being outside of The UK

Keep you posted Check out post 17. It would seem that people would rather mess about with dodgy p2p in other countries than try and find the official details from the FA site!
terrypward Posted 28 November, 2009 Posted 28 November, 2009 I imagine "live" on the FA website means scoreline etc only. I would love to be wrong, but I think you're looking at only the Norwich game being streamed on their website today.

Pat from Poole Posted 28 November, 2009 Posted 28 November, 2009 Northampton v Southampton FA Cup KICK OFF//15.00GMT//16.00CET//10.00EST//01.00AEST STAR SPORTS - TVU Player - Sopcast - TVAnts - TVAnts - UUSee - PPMate P2P4U - Browser . I've downloaded Sopcast and TV Ants and I can't get a picture on any of these links. Do you know if any of them are showing it on Windows Media Player? There doesn't seem to be a link to the Polish channel Sport Klub, which I note is showing the game (as they did for Bristol Rovers).
sibster Posted 28 November, 2009 Posted 28 November, 2009 Pat, The streams do not usually become live until around 5-10 minutes before kickoff so you will need to wait til then before getting a picture. Also the streams are always a few minutes behind "Live" so do not be surprised if the game doesn't appear to kick off until around 1505. HTH
Paul Chuckle Posted 28 November, 2009 Posted 28 November, 2009 i have some Chinese swimming at the moment :/
Saint_clark Posted 28 November, 2009 Posted 28 November, 2009 I'm guessing on the actual sopcast program, the channel you want is star sports?

IamLeGod Posted 28 November, 2009 Posted 28 November, 2009 i just keep getting a message say 'not a registered protocol' can anyone shed any light on this?
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 28 November, 2009 Posted 28 November, 2009 Watching now on the last tvants link.
Minty Posted 28 November, 2009 Posted 28 November, 2009 I got it on the top tvants link... first time i've tried this. Not bad, all things considered...!
Minty Posted 28 November, 2009 Posted 28 November, 2009 whwere do i download the tvants player? Google it, it's not difficult to find!
forever a red and white Posted 28 November, 2009 Posted 28 November, 2009 what do u do once downloaded?
Minty Posted 28 November, 2009 Posted 28 November, 2009 what do u do once downloaded? Click on a tvants link on this page: http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=57343&part=sports Mine is breaking up quite a bit now, not sure how reliable it'll be, but still, worth a go.
Saint_clark Posted 28 November, 2009 Posted 28 November, 2009 The top tvants link on that p2p site is working brilliant for me, not stopping, awesome picture, only grief is that it isn't in english.
Roger Posted 28 November, 2009 Posted 28 November, 2009 Is it safe to downland tv ants, is there a virus risk?
