Anyone know where I can get to see the goals from tonight? I was relying on our Sky Sports News shows we get but the channel abandoned them in place of some Champ League crap.

And no, I do not subscribe to Saints Player...

They'll be on the BBC website from midnight tonight, or early tomorrow morning. They always go up the second day after the game (hence Sat games go up Monday morning).

I'd need a proxy server for that...which I don't have. Thanks anyway. Need to bite the bullet on Saints Player I spose...

I think Ricky's was the best of them all.

I think he felt sorry for the goalie and decided to pass it back to him. Then when Flinders refused to pick it up, thought he had no choice but to put it in.

Seeing as the BBC highlights are for UK residents only, does the Sky Sports version work where you are?

Since the question of where to watch highlights comes up after every game maybe it is possible to have permanent links to the relevant sites, just a thought- I have them from time to time !

Lallana's 2nd goal; how classy was that! Awesome finish. Gotta be one of the L1 'Goal of the Season' contenders...

See the bloke in white behind the goal, he applaud's the goal. They said on Solent that many of the Hartlepool fans did this, fair play to them.

Just watched them on Real Player.

Lallana's 2nd goal really was a peach of a goal, his first wasn't too shabby either ;) ... but he really does need to practice The Windmill a bit more.

As stated else where bigger clubs will definitely come sniffing around in Jan, but his reaction to his 2nd goal, running the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the Saints fans and doing the Micky Channon Windmill shows he certainly holds the club close to his heart. (Funnily enough I meant to post on The Norwich build up fred, wouldn't it be nice if anybody who scores, regardless of which side celebrated with The Windmill seeing as the great man himself was there that day ... but i forgot ;))

As for the 3rd goal, Ricky looked totally embarressed after scoring it, seeing as he so nearly c*cked it up and was given a second bite at it by the keeper. Defo a contender for Goal of the season :D

Terrible challenge by Jones. Should have been straight red not second yellow.

Yes, it was a very bad challenge, though players of course should not react you can understand to a point why they did. That was a potentially leg breaking challenge.

I think if he had fallen over when he stumbled and ended up heading the ball in that would have been the icing on the cake !!

Er .... no

His first was scored in front of the Saints fans and yes he also did The Windmill then, but after his superb 2nd at the other end in the 2nd half he ran the length of the pitch etc etc ..... unless Real Player have managed to get the goals shown in the wrong order :p

If that's true then apologies, but the highlights i've seen show him trotting over to the bench area after the second and hugging Lambert and a couple of others. If he then decided to sprint off to the Saints end it would have looked a little odd.

Was a great goal assisted to a large extent by the wind blowing across the pitch that helped curl the ball into the top corner

This is true but Jonny Wilkinson has to make similar adjustment when kicking penalties for England.

I watched it a number of times with that point in mind, I concluded that Adam took perfect advantage of the wind and knew exactly where the ball was heading !
