Gordon Mockles Posted 25 November, 2009 Posted 25 November, 2009 Rickie Lambert - 13 goals. Finally above Beckford! Please stay injury free & keep on keeping on as I have a bet on both Lambert & Lallana to be top scorer (couldn't not put a bet on with Adam's odds early season!). It will make up for the numerous 3-1 bets I have made this season but forgot to make tonight. Lallana 7th place on 9. Hoping the BBC website is up to date. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/top_scorers/default.stm
chrisobee Posted 25 November, 2009 Posted 25 November, 2009 Think it is up to date, for sure Beckford did not score last night anyway.
krissyboy31 Posted 25 November, 2009 Posted 25 November, 2009 According to the FL Website Lambert has 12 (joint top). Could be the disputed goal between him and Papa? http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/DivisionalScorers/0,,10794~200925,00.html
Pancake Posted 25 November, 2009 Posted 25 November, 2009 Lambert has 12 League goals (11 for Saints and 1 for Brizzle) and 1 Cup goal.
Gordon Mockles Posted 25 November, 2009 Author Posted 25 November, 2009 Lambert has 12 League goals (11 for Saints and 1 for Brizzle) and 1 Cup goal. So, it is 13 then as League Goals carry across clubs.

Gordon Mockles Posted 25 November, 2009 Author Posted 25 November, 2009 Or 12 maybe? Why is BBC site quoting 13 then? (follow my link to the BBC site) Have you taken account the Bristol Rovers goal before RL's transfer? I'm not saying you're wrong I can't remember all the goals or have time today to double check. I just trust the BBC more so than other websites!

Son of Bob Posted 25 November, 2009 Posted 25 November, 2009 We could have another player up there soon if Connolly carries on!
ChrisPY Posted 25 November, 2009 Posted 25 November, 2009 Looked through the list of results/scorers on BBC website he has 12 league goals for Saints plus his one for Brizzle.
Arizona Posted 25 November, 2009 Posted 25 November, 2009 Games Connolly has played when I've been there: Oldham - scored MK Dons -scored Rovers - scored twice Norwich - scored Charlton - didn't score. Games Connolly has played when I wasn't there. Orient - didn't score Brighton - didn't score Hartlepool - didn't score Think the club should give me free tickets from now on.
Son of Bob Posted 25 November, 2009 Posted 25 November, 2009 It must annoy Bristol Rovers that they have no-one who has scored over 6 goals this season!
