Just ignore those who criticise, I'm sure you know it is common on here. I'm appreciative of anyone who posts pics of a game. I have to admit many years ago I went to a stock car race meeting and took a pic of the track whilst a race was in progress and managed to include exactly NO cars which if you have ever been takes some doing smiley-confused004.gif

Cheers, and yeah it is far too common haha. I won't bother in future, if people want better photos they can go to the away games and take them themselves... And that is quite an effort mate, treasure that photo forever ;)

I'm sorry I didn't take my D-SLR camera and that I didn't have time to set up my stand by the side of the pitch and connect my camera up to my laptop, whilst taking photos using my £2000 lens so I could zoom in on the players' faces. I guess when you travel 300 miles to watch your team play you don't have time for that sort of thing. Just out of interest, did you go to the game??

LOL! Dont be so touchy! All the pictures are a bit crap! Banter, that's all. :)

To be honest the comments ( or some of them) did not come across as banter to me and as a regular poster you'll know Robbie what some people are like on here. So personally I would be happy ( if they were my pics) to accept what you say re your remarks whilst reminding you this is NOT the Muppet Show ;)

Okay I help you with you Thai or German. Oh yes l did mean pathetic (like some who post on here)

Were it not so laughable I would consider it an insult for someone from Thailand to call our government ‘pathetic’.

OK, our government is not ‘perfect’, but ask Harry Nicolaides whether he thinks our government is ‘pathetic’ – oh no, of course, you can’t can you, because he is in prison for a mild hint of criticism (in a novel!) of the Thai royal family, or some such. In fact there are quite a few political prisoners in Thailand.

Mind you, it’s difficult to say whether the Thai government is ‘pathetic’ because I’m not sure which one is in power this week. Is it the military dictatorship, the one guilty of electoral fraud, the one guilty of corruption, human rights abuses, physical intimidation and suppression of protestors and the media – who knows, it’s difficult to keep up with the changes?

And one of your recent prime ministers was deemed an ‘unfit person’ to own a football club in this country – some achievement given the number which are owned by crooks and incompetents!

Anyway, enjoy your football, keep educating yourself, keep an open mind and maybe you’ll find that it ain’t so bad in this country after all.

Well our Government is pathetic, that's being polite TBH.

You have clearly given it long and considered judgement so, although you ofer no evidence, I shall bow to your superior intellect.

I hope you will be happy in Thailand. It will certainly be preferable to this country after the boy David is crowned.

Well I guess we could have a poll but as this is a FOOTBALL forum any references to politics are not really on topic. That said 25+ years working for various Government departments ( thankfully no more) plus all the BS that is spouted is more than enough for me to form an opinion. I could easily write a thesis on why I believe this Government is pathetic but see no need even if I was so inclined to do so, I'm not. That said if I ever did leave the UK I certainly would not go to Thailand whose political system actually does admittedly make ours seem quite reasonable though that's clearly not saying much as it stumbles from one crisis to another.

After all England being run by a Scot not even a english person. If you took all the Asian workforce out of the NHS it would collaspse.

Enjoy the game tomorrow if you can make it.

Are you Nick Griffin?

Nope, simply a supporter of informed and intelligent discussion.

If you can do no better than describe something as 'pathetic' I believe you should keep quiet. I believe the government of Thailand is pathetic, and gave a few reasons to support that view.

There was nothing racist in my comments. The recent history of government in thailand is undemocratic, reactionary and brutal.

I made no criticism of Thais or of Asian workers and tonibell's comment regarding the NHS is therefore irelevant, and a little unfair. I welcome all workers of all nations to this country, particularly as I would like the freedom to work in any part of the world I want (and many, many 'Brits' do work - and live - abroad).

There is more suggestion of racism both in tonibell's comment that I should object to a Scot ruling England (but, of course, it is not actually an 'English' parliament, so this comment is also irelevant), and in your avatar.

Our government, as I have already said, is not perfect, but to call it 'pathetic' is facile, moronic, and just a little insulting when the comment comes from someone whose own country is, on the whole, run by genuine crooks and thugs.

Nick Griffin? How the Hell do you make that connection?

As you didn't answer my question I will take it as an admission you had no justification for likening my views to those of Nick Griffin. However, an apology would have been nice.

Sit back in the comfort of your ignorance, leave any outrageous remarks unchallenged, and enjoy all things football.

Not sure what language this is in but I am happy to try and assist in answering your query.

Yes, it appears I did get 'consused' if by this you mean 'confused' and not 'concussed'. It appears I clicked on the wrong 'quote' button but, surely, if you had read the other posts it would not have taken much working out.

It also appears you are a little 'consused'; I have not asked anyone if they were Nick Griffin - I was asked if I were Nick Griffin.

I asked noone for an apology.

At beginning of the game of the game Saints and Hartlepool had a one minute silece at the begging of the game.

Then unfortantly later in the game Kelvin Davis had to go off for an injery after a world class save what kept our hopes up ( we was winning 2-1 ).

Thanks for uploading and hope to see more. We appreciate it's hard to get good pictures in the dark from such a distance.

Sorry to go back off topic but having lived in Thailand for some time, I can tell you that the government is indeed pathetic, most Thais would agree (chi mai tonibell?) and most Thais respect the UK government which for all its many faults, is far better than most of the rest of the world have.

Asking someone if they are Nick Griffin simply for criticising the government of another country is actually the most pathetic thing of all.
