Trottman Banned

Neal Trottman has just been booked to get banned from playing but is he clever & knows that ban will be served while cup tied ( stopped by preston) or will he miss game after cup?

If he is going back in Jan and the next round is 2nd of Jan, PNE could allow him to play in the FA cup for us, we could then drop him from Sat game as he is banned .. thus serving his 1 match ban !! Simples

He has to be banned from the cup game. IF preston recalled him this week he wouldnt be able to play. Its only an agreement between the clubs not the Footy league

Solent retracted that when they realised he is not allowed to play in the FA cup.

 

It seems certain he will miss the Wycombe game next Tuesday.

For him to have been eligible to play on Saturday, Saints would need to receive written permission from his club by 12:00 on Friday.Perhaps they could give this permission knowing that he would be banned anyway? I can't find anything about the yellow card disciplinary procedure and when that takes effect however.

Thanks for the link. According to the wording on the FA site, it does not matter if he is eligible to play on Saturday or not.
