S-Clarke Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 great win IMO. They haven't lost at home since August - i think this result shows that the birghton game was nothing but a blip. normal service resumed...
Tractor_Saint Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Fantastic result away from home against an in form club. Very very chuffed
sad saints fan Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 I am very happy with that. Now can we forget about Brighton.I would say Norwich as well but that was to good a game to forget.
Joesaint Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 6 points till mid table, not that bad is it?
Saintjersey Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Superb result for us. Lallana is looking better by the game.
SydneyRich Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Get in Saints. Lets go f**king mental lalalalaa
sfc6mufc3 Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 great win IMO. They haven't lost at home since August - i think this result shows that the birghton game was nothing but a blip. normal service resumed... agreed - thought this was a banana skin tonight but great win - again 3-1 climb out of the bottom 4 and higher as a result
Saintandy666 Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 1 point from relegation, 13 points from playoffs Glad to see 3-1, NORMAL SERVICE RESUMED
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Very good result that, tricky place to go and I didn't expect that after we went 1-0 down! COYR!
Bailey Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Good result and from the sounds of it, a decent performance to match. Lallana really is impressing of late, seems as though he's enjoying his football these days! Still searching for that elusive clean sheet though, but hopefully that'll come in time. Onwards and upwards, COYR!
John B Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Best Win of the season I think although the first one was not bad either
S-Clarke Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Next 3 games.... Wycombe Home Wallsall Away Tranmere home surely, 6 points at the very minimum? should be out of the bottom 4 in a couple of weeks.
CB Saint Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Good win - happy with that Now the cup is half full again - I reckon the playoffs are well within reach;)
RedWillie Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 great result - Huge well done to the fans who made it up there
Charlie2008 Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Woot! 1-3 prediction to boot! COYR - bring on Northampton... 635 faithful there - respect to you all.
Saint_Jonny Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Love winning 3-1, especially after coming from behind brilliant.
CitySaint Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Relieved !!! Good Result, glad to see the reaction.
Johnny Bognor Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Only 1 point from safety and 7 points from the top half. I would be happy to be in the top half by 1st Jan. We can push on and see where we go from there.
Draino76 Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 I was depressed about everything. Now I have just turned on a sixpence. COYR.
sfc6mufc3 Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 agreed - thought this was a banana skin tonight but great win - again 3-1 climb out of the bottom 4 and higher as a result forgot the table updates based on current scores so still in bottom 4 - oh well won't be long
View From The Top Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Chuffed. Let's get another run together.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Really, really good win. I reckon we are three wins away from looking like a proper mid-table club. And anything could happen from there with the players confidence growing and the -10 well and truly left behind. Cannot complain about AP's tactics or game plan. They obviously got a little lucky to score first in the conditions, but we've ended up with a decent score AND Bart starts what must be a little run of games perhaps with a personal clean sheet. Feeling good.
latter day saint Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Great result! wot is it with 3-1 and us this season
Saint J 77 Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 So is this the start of a run of "3-1" victories again? Lets hope
Plumstead_Saint Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Nice Glad for the fans who travelled all that way on a wet n windy Tuesday night.
LGTL Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 It's a fantastic win. That's the type of game we would have lost by 4 or 5 last season, up north in a horrible ****ty place on a horrible ****ty night.
rocknrollman no2 Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 A good win and total respect to those fans who went there. Just hope Kelvin is not too badly injured.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Next 3 games.... Wycombe Home Wallsall Away Tranmere home surely, 6 points at the very minimum? should be out of the bottom 4 in a couple of weeks. I would be expecting all 9 points from those games TBH - or at the very least 7 points.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Lambert Southampton 13 Barnard Southend 12 Beckford Leeds United 12 Holt Norwich 10 Forster Brighton 9 Lallana Southampton 9 Jackson Gillingham 9 Rhodes Huddersfield 9
CB Fry Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Next 3 games.... Wycombe Home Wallsall Away Tranmere home surely, 6 points at the very minimum? should be out of the bottom 4 in a couple of weeks. Nine points in the run up to the Norwich and Leeds games would be handy.
Micky Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Good result - only downside I can see is KD's injury - anybody got any update...???
Thedelldays Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 great win IMO. They haven't lost at home since August - i think this result shows that the birghton game was nothing but a blip. normal service resumed... agree with this....thank god
corsacar saint Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Pleased as punch with the result. Now surely we can win 3or 4 on the bounce, if we approach them in the right manner.[Well done to the 635, who supported the club for this one]
krissyboy31 Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Really good win tonight. I think Connolly must be out of sorts. He didn't score!
ribbo Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 kelv, out till new years groin injury confirmed on Solent :S get well soon kelv
del boy Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 I stopped looking at the forum at 1-0 and talk of one way traffic on the Saints goal. I came back after 90mins and we've won 3-1, what happened!? Thats Lallana gone in Jan then:mad:
alpine_saint Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Good result. Very pleased. A very timely shot-in-the-arm. Here's to breaking out of the relegation zone next game. Worried about what we are going to do for a goalie, though.
hypochondriac Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Good result. Very pleased. A very timely shot-in-the-arm. Here's to breaking out of the relegation zone next game. Worried about what we are going to do for a goalie, though. I'm still a bit worried that Pardew is Burleyesque and a bit clueless.
alpine_saint Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 I'm still a bit worried that Pardew is Burleyesque and a bit clueless. So am I, but I havent heard him slurring on Sky yet, so I will give him the benefit of the doubt.
benjii Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 great win IMO. They haven't lost at home since August - i think this result shows that the birghton game was nothing but a blip. normal service resumed... Exactly, they played the game of their lives and we underperformed.
Saint Malc Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Just on the way back and a very useful three points (kin 'ell has it started to rain or what?). Anyway, Hartlepool were never in it on the basis of chances but neither we we tbh. To me a thoroughly proffesional performance, a very much deserved win, and that'll do me. :-))))))
benjii Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 I'm still a bit worried that Pardew is Burleyesque and a bit clueless. Absolutely. The series of really good signings and steady improvement since he arrived coupled with scoring loads of goals has me really worried.
