The Banana Factor Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Sound like we are under pressure! Oops there it is!
dubai_phil Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Probably a FlyBE Dash 8, not much better than a Sopwith Camel! Simples:cool: Sounds like any low flying planes near the stadium could be in danger of being struck by the ball.... Meanwhile, I suppose if you got to fly up there in a Sopwith it would at least be more memorable than a spin dryer..... But somehow I knew we shouldn't have started 4-4-2 we've hardly been in it yet, Brown went down the line dinked it into the box and a soft goal
S-Clarke Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 it's been coming, they've been the better side. it's going to be a long long night

Saintjersey Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Hartlepool still attacking.......... long night ahead of us.
sad saints fan Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 The plan is working. We are lulling them into a false sense of security

S-Clarke Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 FFS where on EARTH are wide midflield players, they have acres of space to run at the FB's and are cutting us to shreds diamond formation by the sounds of it. v narrow - which i don't like.

Saint_Jonny Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Saints playing awful. Pool' have had 70% of the possession so far.
CanadaSaint Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 It seems to be midfielders, especially Monkhouse on their left, arriving in the box late and unmarked.
Nexstar Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 James 'anonymous', something I find hard to believe...
Ponty Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 I think I heard somewhere that it's going to be 0-2 FFS.
Arizona Posted 24 November, 2009 Author Posted 24 November, 2009 Saints Legend Vincent Pericard scores for Carlisle.
S-Clarke Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Carlisle beating MK Dons 3-0 away! the MK Dons are awful tbh, in a false position.
stockbridge_saint Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 wind advantage is nothing trotman seems to have lost his way in the last few games, should have started thomas
brianoneils slidingtackle Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 FFS get it together Saints. Not looking forward to travelling to Northampton on saturday now :-(
madruss Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Looks like Connolly needs to score 2 goals for every 1 we concede in order to justify the decision to play 4-4-2 rather than drop him for a formation that suits the other 10 players in the side
S-Clarke Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 nice one lloydy, our corner ends up in an attack for them
Elmore Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Saints sound utter rubbish - what on earth is going on?!
Glasgow_Saint Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 very disappointing 1st 30 mins - have we had a shot yet?
Saintjersey Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 very disappointing 1st 30 mins - have we had a shot yet? Just had one there.
S-Clarke Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 very disappointing 1st 30 mins - have we had a shot yet? lambert just missed
Saint Fan CaM Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Looks like Connolly needs to score 2 goals for every 1 we concede in order to justify the decision to play 4-4-2 rather than drop him for a formation that suits the other 10 players in the side If it carries on like this I think I may have to start agreeing with you. This does not appear to be the performance we would have expected given the quality in the side. Although my feeling is that the four best midfielders were not played from the start. Bizarre.
bigtonesfc Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Saints sound utter rubbish - what on earth is going on?! Jet lag?
Saint Fan CaM Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 James needs to be rested - for some time.
dubai_phil Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 wind advantage is nothing trotman seems to have lost his way in the last few games, should have started thomas I had a buffet lunch at a conference, everything semed to have garlic in it. I now also seem to have a wind advantage. According to Merrrington we are now moooch bitter. Is that a real ale? Lallana scores
