dune Posted 24 November, 2009 Share Posted 24 November, 2009 Visit a place called La Roque and watch the tide go out. It goes out for what looks like miles in a matter of minutes. One minute it's a beautiful sandy cove with a Napoleonic tower way out to sea and an island about 500 years in the sea, then the next minute you are looking at a lunar landscape. You'll have not ever seen anything like it. Rozel is a nice pretty fishing village to visit and can be done on the same tour as La Roque. There is also the German underground hospital. It's a bit eerie inside, but interesting none the less. Jersey is a really beautiful island so above all else get a hire car and do some exploring. benjii Posted 24 November, 2009 Share Posted 24 November, 2009 I think buying a car on holiday is a little extravagant TBH.
