sotonswan Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 Nice to see Martinez making his mark on the Premier League Highest he ever took Swansea in Championship was 6th. Currently 4th without him. We do miss Scotland's goals though. Bastard. I am SO looking forward to MOTD2 tonight. Hope Dave Whelan is satisfied
Rocker268 Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 Lets hope Stoke can now try and copy Spurs in the Second half =p
krissyboy31 Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 Went from 1-0 to 6-1 in the space of 14 second-half minutes. You have to give it to Defoe though, he's some finisher.
St Landrew Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 Jeez that reminds me of the stories about Saints tonking Wolves 9-3 in the 1960's. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/8365091.stm And only 1-0 at HT. Blimey, what a treat for Spuds fans. I might bother to watch that on MOTD2 myself.
bungle Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 Can't believe people are happy about that c*nt Redknapp getting a win. Not real Saints fans, obviously.

benjii Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 Can't believe people are happy about that c*nt Redknapp getting a win. Not real Saints fans, obviously. On the contrary, I am quite amused. No doubt this will fuel the absurd Spurs optimism bandwagon. When they finish the season having achieved absolutely nothing but with an eye-watering wage bill and a manager who's only clue is to say "more, more, more" it will only make it funnier.
Arizona Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 Can't believe people are happy about that c*nt Redknapp getting a win. Not real Saints fans, obviously. Imagine the rage of the Skates though. They must be green with envy.
Nexstar Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 Defoe just booked his seat on the plane to South Africa then, and deservedly so.
Saint Martini Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 Defoe just booked his seat on the plane to South Africa then, and deservedly so. Is he going on a safari holiday?
Hatch Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 I have Huddlestone in my fantasy team, not one goal or assist..Git

Arizona Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 Pompey beatten by Stoke, making it 10 defeats in 13 league games. They are still only 4 points from safety somehow. They are lucky there's so much sh*t in the bottom five of the Prem.
krissyboy31 Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 JDF in my dream team aswell w00t!!11 Mine too!! And I thought my luck was in when Darren Bent and Stephen Ireland scored yesterday.
smithy Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 Defoe just booked his seat on the plane to South Africa then, and deservedly so. When Pompey signed him I thought it was hilarious because he was poor, but he has grown as a player since then and I take it all back. Top striker now.
saint_stevo Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 jd in my team n all. Difference maker. Got me 63.5pts
saint_bert Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 Mine too!! And I thought my luck was in when Darren Bent and Stephen Ireland scored yesterday. Also have Bent and Essien!!!!
St Landrew Posted 23 November, 2009 Posted 23 November, 2009 Nodded off with a slight excess of whisky, but came to just as Bolton V Blackburn was starting on MOTD2. All through it I was thinking, sh!t, I've missed it [spurs V Wigan]. But then I thought, ha..! You can't evade me BBC, I'll watch it on iPlayer. I went to the iPlayer shortly after MOTD2 finished, to find that the site was down for maintenance. So I came here to have a look around and then go back when maintenance was over. And as if to be f****** sh!tty about it on purpose, MOTD2 is NOT AVAILABLE on the iPlayer. When did that happen..?

When did that happen..? I don't think MOTD or MOTD2 is ever available on i-player, Sky having such a large percentage of the rights to show PL matches I would say is almost certainly the reason. I missed it as well
keithd Posted 23 November, 2009 Posted 23 November, 2009 When did that happen..? i think since forever. something about copyright and the like for the brand that is "The Premiership"
stevegrant Posted 23 November, 2009 Posted 23 November, 2009 MOTD and MOTD2 are only shown live on iPlayer, I don't think they have the rights to show it in playback mode.
krissyboy31 Posted 23 November, 2009 Posted 23 November, 2009 It's on Sky Player if you have SS subscription.
jeff leopard Posted 23 November, 2009 Posted 23 November, 2009 Can't believe people are happy about that c*nt Redknapp getting a win. Usually i'd agree, but the thought of all the skates looking at the manager, the scorers and league position of spurs and thinking 'that should be us' is just too delicious
krissyboy31 Posted 23 November, 2009 Posted 23 November, 2009 Just watching the highlights on Sky, they could/should have had a hatful in the first half as well!
Hatch Posted 23 November, 2009 Posted 23 November, 2009 Wigna players are refunding tickets costs to the travelling supporters.
krissyboy31 Posted 23 November, 2009 Posted 23 November, 2009 Wigna players are refunding tickets costs to the travelling supporters. They treat the fans to a ten goal extravaganza and then refund their costs?

AndyNorthernSaints Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Can't believe people are happy about that c*nt Redknapp getting a win. Not real Saints fans, obviously. +1 I've never liked Spurs much and Redkrap there makes me dislike them more.
Durleyfos Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 Wigan have admited that there was a handball in the build up to their goal. They have sportingly offered to replay the game.
AndyNorthernSaints Posted 25 November, 2009 Posted 25 November, 2009 Wigna players are refunding tickets costs to the travelling supporters. That wont cost them much then.
keithd Posted 25 November, 2009 Posted 25 November, 2009 Wigna players are refunding tickets costs to the travelling supporters. why? it's football, it happens every so often. Are Spurs going to ask for more money as there was more goal slash entertainment than usual? poncy gesture
