on a similar, if random, note. has any1 got a plan of sms 'behind the scenes'. i mean like all the offices and things. i no 1 part of the stadium well cos my work was streamed from there, but i never strayed into many of the other areas. just interested really. thanks.

You're right, I can't find it either. It used to be there in the old format of the website.

Maybe someone can get you a stadium plan. All you need to know is anywhere is fine - Northam end are feisty, Chapel End are quiet, the Kingsland and Itchen stands are a mix. You get a good view from anywhere. Come on down.

haha i did think is was going to sound a bit suspicious! just always wondered if theres anything above the northam and kingsland concorses like the community and insurance offices are in the chappel and all the exec boxes, changing rooms, board room, etc etc etc are in the itchen.

only a couple of little rooms next to the control room in the Northam Away corner (fantastic view from there!! ) , thats it. there is nowt above the Kingsland that i ever saw HTH

I've actually got a copy of the original architects plans at home. There may have been some changed to the stadium since they were done but they're quite interesting, I'll dig them out and have a look when I get 5 minutes.

There Southampton City training offices which go from above the ticket office / Radio Station to approximately half way down the Northam End.

 

Also Southampton City Council CCTV control Room at Chapel End

Used to be a plan on the old forum, may have been in Keiths one, where we all marked where we sit at SMS
