I have recently upgraded and still have the old school EPG - but thought that Sky HD had a new fandangled EPG? anyone know anything? Will it get updated over the system, or is there something i need to be doing? :confused:

Will it get updated over the system, or is there something i need to be doing? :confused: Sky are updating sky boxes make by make...Samsung (mine) was updated a few weeks back. I assume the rest will be rolled out over next few weeks/months It's not all as it's cracked up to be....you get a small screen to continue viewing whilst looking at EPG but it now runs very slow

Not sure if or when we get it, when you get the new EPG you can get ITV HD

Not sure if or when we get it, when you get the new EPG you can get ITV HD No you can`t. I has sky hd installed at begining of month and you get the new EPG but it does not have ITV. The engineer said you can go on the internet and get instuctions on how to set your box for ITV HD but it will not be on the "normal" guide for a while yet something to do with the freeview deal.

Murdock Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 I think its worth mentioning that you cannot record from the ITV HD channel on sky+HD. Had it tuned in for a few months now and had awful problems, (ITV's fault) needless to say was trying to watch sport!!
Paul Chuckle Posted 24 November, 2009 Posted 24 November, 2009 ITV HD is **** anyways, we have it on new planner but no more than 1 programme a dayon there. Only good for football to be fair. Channel 4 HD is another 1, only Hollyoaks is only HD programme on there pretty much each day!
