manji Posted 20 November, 2009 Posted 20 November, 2009 Deathprod would be good, maybe The Acid Mothers Temple.
Red&White Posted 20 November, 2009 Posted 20 November, 2009 Deathprod would be good, maybe The Acid Mothers Temple. It`s gotta be mainstream to make money guys
saint lard Posted 20 November, 2009 Posted 20 November, 2009 would like another gig at St Mary's as they have been great days out,yes i know some will mock Bon Jovi and Elton John, good days out but i can honestly say it is the worst venue acoustically. Shame, because otherwise it is a great venue.

saint lard Posted 21 November, 2009 Posted 21 November, 2009 Never been to Soton guildhall then? Yes fairly recently,Motorhead,so i suspect the acoustics were not that important;) I actually quite like the guildhall as a venue, going to see Joe Bonamassa December 1st,the acoustics better be half good for that.
Junction 9 Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 Anyone on the planet would be better than the sh*tfest that was Bon Jovi supported by Nickelback. Arena gigs are always a letdown generally. We don't need the money now do we?

We don't need the money now do we? I see what you're saying; you'd like to see The Wildhearts supported by Buckcherry.
saint_bert Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 Cradle of filth supported by Lamb of god would be good
Saint_Jonny Posted 22 November, 2009 Posted 22 November, 2009 I dont think cradle of flilth could fill my back garden let alone St.marys, what a load of namby pamby crap. Only bands I like that could fill it are Metallica and Maiden. Maybe a one off Prodigy gig with loads of epic support...

Yeah I mean at Download the other year there was only about 40k people marching to the main stage to see them so I see your point.
