gjphilsaint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 saints should be ashamed of themselves....
spain saint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 very poor performance today, Brighton had a game plan and it has worked. They derserve the win. The keeper has been great.
DT Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 its just one big hoof all ****in game that starts from Davis. at least Bart rolls it out. Morgan and Lallana try to pass it as well.
Window Cleaner Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Well, bottom 4 for at least another week  2 at least, gonna be another crisis meeting at SMS this week. This loss will not sit well with the "board".21932 at SMS and we're abysmal, questions will be asked.
Mr X Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 totally lacklustre today credit where credits due brighton have defended superbly and there front two have been brilliant
Under Weststand Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Just not happening for us How the F**K did he miss that
St Landrew Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Wake up call. Don't believe your own Press. I have to say that I was overconfident of a win, and I guess the players were too. The other day I picked up someone for suggesting Brighton would win 2-1. I'm the one who was wrong. Apologies to that member.
View From The Top Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Some serious soul-searching is in order.. No it's not thrush.
Minsk Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 If that isnt a Burley White Flag, I dont know what is....... Are you actually watching the game? Antonio was not actually creating anything for the last 10-15 mins before he was taken off. The defence had got the better of him. About the most he did was deliver long throws, and I (for one) remember how effective Delap's long throws were for us. It was exactly the substitution I would have made if I was in Pards position. What would you have done?????
Under Weststand Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Free header miles wide sums it up today. bad day at the office all round.
gjphilsaint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 sh..........................ock.............................ing!
alpine_saint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 No it's not thrush. If it makes you feel better, friend..
View From The Top Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 As I said on the other thread, we were due a loss.
LGTL Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 If Hammond didn't put it over from 3 yards in the first 5 mins of the 2nd half this would have been so different.
CanadaSaint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Wake up call. Don't believe your own Press. I have to say that I was overconfident of a win, and I guess the players were too. We may have needed this. You learn a lot more from your losses than your wins. We're not even out of November yet.
View From The Top Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 It's how we bounce back that matters.

saint_jas Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 **** poor performance. Passing is ****e today. Really hope Pardew lays into them after this.

Brighton.......BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION, FFS....the team that has been homeless and nearly gone out of business sh*tloads of times, have done us up like a kipper.
Ponty Posted 15 November, 2009 Author Posted 15 November, 2009 Can we save the positivity for the Post Match thread, please?
Ponty Posted 15 November, 2009 Author Posted 15 November, 2009 Seem to have American Rugby on now....
Under Weststand Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Well we all new we had defensive problems, really proved today. Also cant get out the bottom Four with a single win now, need to go on a good run again to get out of the bottom Four. Real wake up call today.
alpine_saint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 It's how we bounce back that matters. Nope, keeping the momentum when you are winning is more important. We know we have the players to more than compete at this level.
Saint J 77 Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 oh fook it, at least its over now. Note to Saints; Must do better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SaintNeil90 Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 They didnt turn up today! Not one of those players can say they played with any passion or desire to win! This winning mentality has made them overconfident and too big for their boots. We will NOT make the play offs this year FACT. I know people will say 'oh but its only 1 game!'. Its a game that if you want to make the play offs you dont lose and dont play that badly.
gjphilsaint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 saints cant get out of bottom 4 next week now
Window Cleaner Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 If Hammond didn't put it over from 3 yards in the first 5 mins of the 2nd half this would have been so different. How many times did we say that last season? Probably just a glitch because of Wednesday but we really needed the points today.
