gjphilsaint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 what options does papa give us that antonio doesnt?
Window Cleaner Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 not gunna get anything here, they'll score again. At least we won in the Johnstone paint trophy... cos that was important wasnt it so our players look drained today, what a bunch of jokers They're not a bunch of jokers, Wednesday was probably a hard game, now they have to do it all again. We have few realistic options, that's our trouble.Look at Liverpool, great 1st 11 but not much else.
Stu Man Do Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Odd sub IMO Antonio has been superb today, lets hope waigo has his knock it in from 2 yards boots on!
adrian lord Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 FFS we look total ****e now Antonio's gone
Under Weststand Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Feels like its slipping away here now, but hope I'm wrong
oxfordshire_saint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Should have taken a central midfielder off and put Papa wide left with Antonio continuing wide right and Lallana in the middle behind Connolly and Lambert
Bairdylegend Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Think uve missed the point, the players arent jokers, but whoever made the decision that the bloody JP trophy is more important then the league
Ponty Posted 15 November, 2009 Author Posted 15 November, 2009 You get the impression we wouldn't score if there was a week left, let alone 10 minutes. One of those games...
adrian lord Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Compfortably playing out the match now Brighton....
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Its a worry that we seem to have no plan B now that Conolly and Antonio are starting games........
martyg1950 Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 6 minutes to go, a goal down and we give it away
adrian lord Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Brighton could even add another at this rate
CanadaSaint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 not gunna get anything here, they'll score again. At least we won in the Johnstone paint trophy... cos that was important wasnt it so our players look drained today, what a bunch of jokers Every single time you've appeared on here with your dire predictions you've been wrong. Today might be the only day you're right but I feel more optimistic now that you've chimed in again. For pessimism you make Alpine look like a raving optimist.
adrian lord Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Brighton could even add another at this rate Told you so....
badgerx16 Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Well, bottom 4 for at least another week
Ponty Posted 15 November, 2009 Author Posted 15 November, 2009 Wish someone would gag that kid squealing "Red army" right next to the mic. Hmmmm, some comeback required now.
trousers Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 are we paying the price for playing our first team twice in a week when we should be concentrating on the league 100%? discuss
gjphilsaint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 not over yet sadly ... brighton push on!!!
Under Weststand Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 We have been awful today once again very poor defending, poor passing aimless crossing from to deep, got what we deserved NOTHING.
martyg1950 Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 This is a team we should have absolutely destroyed
alpine_saint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 you gotta say they deserve it They did their homework. As Orient nearly managed Saints fall victim to another new manager/ Live-on-Sky combo.... Some serious soul-searching is in order..
DT Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Poyet - a decent manager. Quite obviously. Wish we had their keeper too.
Matty's Caddy Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 its just one big hoof all ****in game
