Despite the obvious fact that you'd love us to lose so you could have a great time telling everyone how rubbish we are the simple fact that every team has peaks and troughs seems to have passed you by.

Rubbish.

I am just frustrated at the resumption of normal service.

We have a big match of serious significane (out of relegation zone), a big crowd, and we utterly blow it.

Hold you horses - there is still more than twenty minutes left

Not going are way today, its a bit like the Rovers game in the league, we could have gone into plus points that night but it didnt go our way, and now we can get out the relegation zone if we had won today and it just not going for us again.

Just aimless balls in the box at the moment, need to get behind them.

Oh great chance missed again, think we might pay for these misses.

Absolutely.

Width. Triangles. One-touch.

Not aimless hoofs, although even then it's only a matter of time before we get a clean header. Lallana had one.

i feel we are only going to get back in IF B&HA make a mistake

Or if we score from one of our multiple chances which all seem to be resulting in near misses.Déjà vu here.Have we re-signed BWP and Euell?

Brighton may be being put under a lot of pressure, but they're not looking ragged under it. For me, Lambert is not making his presence felt enough either, depsite his penalty.

Really impressed with Antonio, first game I've managed to see this season, bit of a reality check so far I think, lots of potential here but still a lot of work for Pards

not gunna get anything here, they'll score again. At least we won in the Johnstone paint trophy... cos that was important wasnt it so our players look drained today, what a bunch of jokers

Shouldn't our manager be making some tactical changes? Thought it was part of the job description.

I'm not sure what he can do. He's set up for width with 4-4-2 and we've just got to keep plugging away.

The only change will probably be to replace like-for-like.

What changes would you make?

I've beent hinking about this for the past 15 mins, but not sure which would be most effective (or who is on the bench, to be honest).

Assuming they are there; probably Waigo and Mellis (or possibly Mills) for Antonio and Morgan.

Hooray - Pardew has woken up. Good decision. Antonio seemed to lose that battle with their defender but we will miss his throws...
