Dalek2003 Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Saints are frustration personified !!!!!!!!

Rubbish. I am just frustrated at the resumption of normal service. We have a big match of serious significane (out of relegation zone), a big crowd, and we utterly blow it.

CanadaSaint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 I don't like seeing Connolly playing so wide when he's part of the central one-two that can get us back in this.
martyg1950 Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Brighton have 7 or 8 in defense whenever we get there, have to get it behind them
oxfordshire_saint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Bah, someone stick one of these in!

Under Weststand Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Just aimless balls in the box at the moment, need to get behind them. Oh great chance missed again, think we might pay for these misses.
gjphilsaint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 i feel we are only going to get back in IF B&HA make a mistake
Saint J 77 Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Not going are way today, its a bit like the Rovers game in the league, we could have gone into plus points that night but it didnt go our way, and now we can get out the relegation zone if we had won today and it just not going for us again.

Not aimless hoofs, although even then it's only a matter of time before we get a clean header. Lallana had one.

St Landrew Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Brighton may be being put under a lot of pressure, but they're not looking ragged under it. For me, Lambert is not making his presence felt enough either, depsite his penalty.
martyg1950 Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Really impressed with Antonio, first game I've managed to see this season, bit of a reality check so far I think, lots of potential here but still a lot of work for Pards
DT Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Shouldn't our manager be making some tactical changes? Thought it was part of the job description.

martyg1950 Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 We need to get level, they will fold if we do
Bairdylegend Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 not gunna get anything here, they'll score again. At least we won in the Johnstone paint trophy... cos that was important wasnt it so our players look drained today, what a bunch of jokers
sydney_saint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Disappointed how AP has allowed the game to drift
yellow&blue Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 So where's our urgency in making an attacking change then?
CB Saint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Some one needs to get a hold of this game -
gjphilsaint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 here's our chance i think subs are poor

He's set up for width with 4-4-2 and we've just got to keep plugging away. The only change will probably be to replace like-for-like.
Under Weststand Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 oh another chance goes begging we cant keep missing these
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 antonios long throw is a real asset - sign this kid!!
Minsk Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 DT said: Shouldn't our manager be making some tactical changes? Thought it was part of the job description. What changes would you make? I've beent hinking about this for the past 15 mins, but not sure which would be most effective (or who is on the bench, to be honest). Assuming they are there; probably Waigo and Mellis (or possibly Mills) for Antonio and Morgan.
martyg1950 Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 we're subbing Antonio ??????????????????????????
DT Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Hooray - Pardew has woken up. Good decision. Antonio seemed to lose that battle with their defender but we will miss his throws...
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 antonio off - there goes our only real threat this game...weird change
adrian lord Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Antonio is behind everything we do. Now he's off
CB Saint Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Antonio off - hmmm... he has been one of our most dangerous players
yellow&blue Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Why take Antonio off? We need a goal and his pace, crosses, and long throws!! What's Pardew doing FFS?

martyg1950 Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 In Pards we trust..... seems an odd call from here tho
DT Posted 15 November, 2009 Posted 15 November, 2009 Jaidi looks like someone's Dad playing for his son's team.
