Saint_clark Posted 13 November, 2009 Share Posted 13 November, 2009 If you've been a victim to antisocial behaviour which has led to a conviction and found the after-support inadequate, or know of anyone in this situation, then please sign the below petition; http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/ASBPolicyReview/ A family member who was attacked a while ago was treated with complete indifference when she asked for treatment, after finding she had developed a mild agoraphobia. This petition is asking for a review into the policies of all local authorities on situations like this. It is slightly more in-depth on the link above. Please note - the deadline for this is midnight tonight.

Saint_clark Posted 13 November, 2009 Author Share Posted 13 November, 2009 People need to learn to toughen up. To dismiss such psychological conditions as those felt by victims of abuse is pretty ignorant tbh.

Saint_clark Posted 13 November, 2009 Author Share Posted 13 November, 2009 Yet manly. Well if the victim was a veteran from Afghan I would agree with you, however when the victim is an old woman...

hypochondriac Posted 13 November, 2009 Share Posted 13 November, 2009 I'd love to sign but unfortunately I'm neither old nor female. I feel the phrase man up applies to me when feelings are involved so I can't help you out. I'm so sorry.

Rattlehead Posted 13 November, 2009 Share Posted 13 November, 2009 Mild agoraphobia? I get major agoraphobia every time I get my commuter train into London, mainly because there are always some pikeys on it. I just get on with things. Seriously, how much do you think the state should stump up for some shrinks to talk to people on that? Where does it all stop? Why should the government step in and sort out everyone's problems? I get stressed out about having to conform to society and get up before midday every day, should I get counselling?

Is it the worry that you may end up more than 10 feet away from one of them?
Rattlehead Posted 14 November, 2009 Share Posted 14 November, 2009 I suggest you look up the definition of agoraphobia.
