Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 12 November, 2009 Posted 12 November, 2009 ...But what do you reckon for a sneaky £1.5m bid for Freddy Adu in the January window. Currently sat on the bench for Belensenses in Portugal, on loan from Benfica. Wants to play in the Premier League. There is no better shop window for him than the lower English divisions. Pards, give him a go.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 12 November, 2009 Author Posted 12 November, 2009 And I spelt lambasted incorrectly.
Thedelldays Posted 12 November, 2009 Posted 12 November, 2009 Jesus you do realise we are in division 3?
Jez Posted 12 November, 2009 Posted 12 November, 2009 I fricking love Freddy Adu!!!! Ever since you used to be able to buy him as a 15 year old (or was it younger than that?) on Champ Man. Still, he'll never come to us in our current position!
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 12 November, 2009 Author Posted 12 November, 2009 Jesus you do realise we are in division 3? Yes, but he's sat on the bench in a league that is akin to the Championship bar 3 sides. and it puts him in the shop window. And we're going places. If we got waigo on loan, who played 8 times last season for Fiorentina in a better league, then why not?
Thedelldays Posted 12 November, 2009 Posted 12 November, 2009 Ha waigo got a higher pedigree? He also looks dodgy at times and still can look like he does not know the off side rule. I think if it wa a toss up between waigo and Antonio. Antonio would win for pardew. Even if adu does nt make it where ever he is. England div 3 is probably well off his radar
Thedelldays Posted 12 November, 2009 Posted 12 November, 2009 Sorry about the spellings etc. On the farking iPhone
Matthew Le God Posted 12 November, 2009 Posted 12 November, 2009 Sorry about the spellings etc. On the farking iPhone How is being on an iphone an excuse for poor spelling?
dronskisaint Posted 12 November, 2009 Posted 12 November, 2009 How is being on an iphone an excuse for poor spelling? In defence of Dell Days to ask that question you must have very small fingers!
Arizona Posted 12 November, 2009 Posted 12 November, 2009 I'd rather spend the £1.5m on Antonio and give him an 11 year contract TBF.
Saint J 77 Posted 12 November, 2009 Posted 12 November, 2009 Jesus you do realise we are in division 3? Oh my!, Dibden Purlieu Saint is Jesus!!!!!!!! I never knew... Sorry couldn't resist that one

Saint Fan CaM Posted 12 November, 2009 Posted 12 November, 2009 More chance of signing Freddie Starr. You beat me to it!
Victor Posted 12 November, 2009 Posted 12 November, 2009 And I spelt lambasted incorrectly. Yes, but in a nice way - I can just see our no.7 'lambesting' the opposition!
saint_stevo Posted 12 November, 2009 Posted 12 November, 2009 still living off (un)proven potential. If his name was Jimmy Fadu and you saw him play, you would think he was average....at best
Saints foreva Posted 12 November, 2009 Posted 12 November, 2009 Didn't a paper link us with him last season?

England div 3 is probably well off his radar IMHO Waigo has learnt the offside rule pretty well since the MK Dons game. I dont think he was flagged once at Orient and last night once, which has been called an incorrect decision on the "Offside Rule" thread. I fully expect him to start on Sunday.

oxfordshire_saint Posted 12 November, 2009 Posted 12 November, 2009 He spends far too much time on twitter for my liking. He's looking very much like he'll go down in history as a massive wasted talent, not that long ago that Fergie had him training at United. Also, as someone mentioned above, work permit would be a stumbling block.
St Will Posted 12 November, 2009 Posted 12 November, 2009 I fully expect him to start on Sunday. You do? I'm not so sure. I think Antonio will keep his place and the team will be almost the starting line up yesterday - just Trotman and Kelvin coming back in.

Pards, give him a go. He was looking at a loan spell at Danish club Odense BK but the move broke down because they couldn't agree on the wages... I think he heavily relies on his Champ Man godlike status
