VectisSaint Posted 11 November, 2009 Share Posted 11 November, 2009 That late goal may have made it a bit nervy, but it made it another 10 points in the Prediction league Really should have been 4 or 5 nil tonight. Thought we were superb at times. Must pay credit to Lallana, was critical in the past but tonight he was superb.

paris Posted 11 November, 2009 Share Posted 11 November, 2009 Comfortable win and i watched it on Sky via the internet (thanks guys) for the first time ,to be honest i don't think Saints really moved into first gear and had a lot more left in the tank were the best team all night .. Lallana played real well the boy's got a very good future if he keeps his head down... Bart looked OK although not a great deal to do..Good to see Thomas and Ricky score again. St Landrew Posted 11 November, 2009 Share Posted 11 November, 2009 Strolled it. Lallana and Lambert a different class. How on Earth are we going to keep Lallana in January?? For the same reason that Alan Pardew kept him at Saints when he got here. He said he'd win a title at Saints, and to stay and improve with the improvement with Saints. John B Posted 11 November, 2009 Share Posted 11 November, 2009 I thought we were distinctly average and sloppy but nevermind! I think we better than that but not superb. Under Weststand Posted 11 November, 2009 Share Posted 11 November, 2009 Pardew interview disappointed that we got sloppy again, questioned how far can we go his reply we just want a winning team & a winning season & see where that takes us maybe a cup final or a play off final(yes please,) would it be greedy to hope for both. Yes, of course. But I still have the videos of the Premiership of Saints when they were in the Prem. And the passing and speed wasn't as crisp as it is now. Of course, the opposition makes a significant difference. Obviously, I'm talking about the speed and shape, within this division.
doggface Posted 11 November, 2009 Share Posted 11 November, 2009 Harding mom for me. Morgan was excellent in 1st half, lallana had a good game. Jaidi looked a little shakey 1st half but improved 2nd - the opposite could be saved for Thomas who looked a little shakey at right back. Feel a bit for Bart he only had 2 saves to make all night. Very pleased another win shame we could not keep a clean sheet again but we are certainly entertaining these days!

S-Clarke Posted 11 November, 2009 Share Posted 11 November, 2009 just to clarify, is the wembley final between the 2 southern teams? or nothern and southern? Wembley final is between the winners of the Northern and Southern finals. It goes from now on... Semi Final (same format as the other rounds) area final (2 legs - home and away) and the final at wembley. (winners of the 2 area finals)
