Redondo Saint Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 pretty cold here although nowhere near as cold as yesterday when it was down to minus 6 at 8 o clock in the evening. Minus 6 where?
Window Cleaner Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 Never been to Rotherham any season haven't missed much
ericofarabia Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 Connolly looks a class above anybody else on the pitch even if he is still a bit rusty.
saint lard Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 Good effort by Connolly, lovely build up play
CanadaSaint Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 great skills from Connelly!! He really is class. His first touch is great, he's super-aware of what's going on around him and he's a clinical, two-footed finisher. If he can stay fit, he and Lambert are going to be a lethal duo. They'll feed off eachothers' touches.
Under Weststand Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 Connolly nearly bends in another from the corner of the box just wide great effort.
Window Cleaner Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 Minus 6 where? high up in the Massif Central, about 3000 ft I suppose.
trousers Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 If we don't win every remaining game this season (exclusing FA Cup) I'll eat a badger
dubai_phil Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 k'in hell who is this Connolly bloke.... More ambitious with his shooting than even Beatts.. Thomas 1st goal for Saints & 1st for 4 years.
alpine_saint Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 If we don't win every remaining game this season (exclusing FA Cup) I'll eat a badger heheheh
Under Weststand Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 Jesus that should have been 2-0 great sot Antonio. Shout for a pen as well
trousers Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 I love this league. Will be a shame to get promoted
Redondo Saint Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 If we don't win every remaining game this season (exclusing FA Cup) I'll eat a badger Connelly and Lambert are going to feed off of each others touches.
Window Cleaner Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 Charlton haven't got a Scooby neither have we any more, did he get banned or just change user name?
dubai_phil Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 Brazil, it's just like watching Brazil... for now at least
alpine_saint Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 neither have we any more, did he get banned or just change user name? heheheh Isnt he 19C ?
trousers Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 Dilema for Pards at half-time? Maybe looking to rest one or two but one goal cushion not enough?
thorpie the sinner Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 Brazil, it's just like watching Brazil... for now at least is that Alan Brazil????
dubai_phil Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 I love this league. Will be a shame to get promoted If it wasn't for the fact that this is a cup match that would be funny....
trousers Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 If it wasn't for the fact that this is a cup match that would be funny.... I knew that....honest! I was looking at the bigger picture....
ericofarabia Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 If we don't win every remaining game this season (exclusing FA Cup) I'll eat a badger I might go for a similar bet but change my munching to pussy
Minsk Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 If we don't win every remaining game this season (exclusing FA Cup) I'll eat a badger I will happily eat Beaver every time we don't win.................... and 2 if we do!!!! And on topic, only just got in from work. Having a quick look through the thread it seems we have been well on top. Is this right? Also, any reason been given as to why Bart is in goal? Has Kelvin been feeling ill this week or something?
bristolsaint29 Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 Oh the famous Markus Liebherr went to rome to see the pope!!
dubai_phil Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 is that Alan Brazil???? last sung with meaning away to Leicester (Filbert Street) when Anders had a blinder and we won something like 45-0 or maybe 3 or 4-1 One of my weekends back in blighty.
Under Weststand Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 Half time 1-0 should be out of sight by now though.
Minsk Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 neither have we any more, did he get banned or just change user name? He was great entertainment wasn't he? I couldn't believe how many people got upset at his ludicrous posts.
Redondo Saint Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 bloody hell, Franny on my pc at half time!!!! yo gotta love the web.
dubai_phil Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 I might go for a similar bet but change my munching to pussy Oh crap, does that mean another trip to The Seaview Saturday with Le G for the after party
Saint_clark Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 Good performance so far, Bart is looking better than last season which is promising.
trousers Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 And on topic, only just got in from work. Having a quick look through the thread it seems we have been well on top. Is this right? Also, any reason been given as to why Bart is in goal? Has Kelvin been feeling ill this week or something? Yes, we are 100% on top...no chances for Charlton....many for us. My guess about Bart is that Pards wants to try an outfield captain and perhaps thought the most diplomatic way of doing it was to 'rest' Davies....just a hunch

benjii Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 It's funny because I think most of our team have been playing below-par. Schneiderlin, Thomas, Harding and James have been excellent (and Bart has been faultless) but the rest are playing at about 65%. I'm not having a go because it looks pretty slippery out there but I think it's a good sign that we can restrict Charlton the way we have and grab a goal. Would like to see us playing a lot better than this when we have the ball though.
gjphilsaint Posted 11 November, 2009 Posted 11 November, 2009 yes we are looking quite good. pleasing to watch... harding seems to be having a good game, certainly getting forward and solid in defence.
