The man behind the 2002 sniper attacks in and around Washington DC has been executed after a final appeal was thrown out.

You'll do well to listen to some of the relatives of those who he killed. I'm not getting into the whole death penalty debate we've done that recently but in a lesson in how to conduct yourself when a person is deliberately killed then the man I heard on the radio was very dignified. Let's face it he had more of a right to a response such as your thread title but chose not to perhaps recognising that even in his heinous crimes the man was still someone's son. sibling or maybe father thereby creating more suffering on innocent victims.

 

I don't know what the answer is but 'Good riddance and no real loss' is not it of that I am certain.

If the guy was genuinely mentally ill after being involved in the Gulf War, then surely the system let him down big time ?
