What's the problem??? Good tie. We beat them comfortably at the start of the season with a sh*t team (the team that lost to Huddersfield and Swindon). If we could do that then, the 3rd round almost certainly beckons....

What a crap draw. We will have to play another full strength team.

I would rather we played the reserves an be done with it

What a silly way of looking at it. If we played our reserves against a non-league team we would go out.

Good

the league is the only thing and everything for this season and next

That's not a silly way of looking at it, but it's pretty pathetic. You want us to deliberately lose?

Where did i say that

rather negative that you think our fringe players may not beat Northampton

I would rather players like lambert, Harding and hammond had a bloody rest

Oh come on, Charlton are at the top of the table and their first team lost to Northwich Victoria. In these stages the FA cup throws quality and form out the window.

Who's saying they won't? Anyway, I would think Pardew will be the best judge of whether they need a rest or not.

i think the TV guys will be struggling to work out what to televise from that lot, load of rubbish draws.

Think Kettering v Leeds is a banker to be shown

That's one way of looking at it. But confidence builds upon success. One school of thought would have been to rest Connolly for last Friday but starting the game and scoring those two goals will have done him a lot more good than staying at home and 'having a rest'.

And who did I want? 'Any lower-league team at home, or if it's away then some proper football ground that I haven't been to before in some interesting part of the country'. I was wrong all all counts.
