RonManager Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 Well, who do you want, who do you not want?
Window Cleaner Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 Well, who do you want, who do you not want? Bournemouth at home, the 300K will give them a hand up and we get an easy win in front of 26000
Saint_Jonny Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 gutted eastleigh didnt make it through, last minute sucker punch after coming from behind, Saints of the future perhaps. Id like a smaller team at home.
Thedelldays Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 the worst possible team at home so we can rest some players
Clifford Nelson Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 Let's not forget the heavy weather we made of Torquay, and similarly to a degree of Northampton, which wasn't a night of beautiful football either. Let's avoid Charlton again, because it's starting to get repetitive, but what about West Ham and Reading? Reading at home has got a nice ring to it.
Master Bates Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 Bournemouth at home, the 300K will give them a hand up and we get an easy win in front of 26000 I like that

I think it would be good for us to get an easy home game in Round 2 and then see how we measure up against a top half championship side in January.

Championship sides and above don't come in until the 3rd round Still just L1/L2/Conf clubs.

Reading at home has got a nice ring to it. prem and ccc teams enter in the third round, it will be much of the same in the 2nd round, a league 2 team at home. Or someone very near to huddersfield!
Saint Charlie Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 Nobody from league one would be a good start. Bath City would be great. As would Bmth. Would like to avoid Leeds, Norwich, Charlton or Huddersfield in particular.

NickG Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 not bothered about Bournemouth. Non league side for change?
Thedelldays Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 Barcelona away ffs, you have been told too many times to stop being unrealistic
bpsaint Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 Bournemouth at home, the 300K will give them a hand up and we get an easy win in front of 26000 **** that,we've done more than enough in the past to help them financially and their fans still have some complex against us,i'd rather anyone got half the ticket sales then that lot. Besides, their league form suggests it wouldn't be an 'easy' win. I'd like any non-league team at home so they get a bit of a financial boost.
S-Clarke Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 Notts' Co at home would be interesting. two teams, with two differing methods of getting to the prem from the lower leagues.
bungle Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 I never, ever, want us to play Bournemouth. Ever. Disgusting.
Thedelldays Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 I never, ever, want us to play Bournemouth. Ever. Disgusting. agree with this
randyapollo Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 stockport away or rochdale away (when they beat luton in replay)..... both grounds only 30 minutes away...........would love to get oldham away but leeds will stuff them
Saint_Jim Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 I never, ever, want us to play Bournemouth. Ever. Disgusting. +1.
rooney Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 I never, ever, want us to play Bournemouth. Ever. Disgusting. I do, as we would get a good gate and we need to get one over them for turning us over at Dean Court in pre season, albeit with a different team than we have now.
Arizona Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 Bath City away. For once, you are talking some sense.
shurlock Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 Bournemouth away. S**t all over those redknapp worshippers while ensuring they make f**k all money out of the game. We should even decline any offer to play the game at SMS.
THINWHITEDUKE Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 I never, ever, want us to play Bournemouth. Ever. Disgusting. + 1 ****ing ingrates!! :smt076
AndyNorthernSaints Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 Would like to go to a new ground. Barrow Southport Rochdale Kettering (where is this?) Gateshead Wrexham York Accrington Stanley Staines Massive Hereford Rushden & Diamonds Oxford Utd
red and white saint Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 Staines away only 3 miles from me
SNSUN Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 (edited) Staines away only 3 miles from me Only half a mile from me! I'd love to have been there today. Would defo get tickets if we played there. (Saints end of course...) I'll take Norwich at St Marys please. That gives me three attempts this season to diss my missus, my stupid, yellow bird loving, Delia Smith adoring shame. (I love her to bits...) I can't make the two league games due to work comittments. (i.e. work.) Edited 7 November, 2009 by SNSUN
Thedelldays Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 would the yoof deal with the staines massive..?
SNSUN Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 would the yoof deal with the staines massive..? Staines yoof is on the out. It's the Slough slags you want to watch out for...

Thedelldays Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 Staines yoof is on the out. It's the Slough slags you want to watch out for... I have heard this....they would pull you and if you dont do what they want they will fill you in.. sovereign rings and super kings spring to mind right here
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 Staines yoof is on the out. It's the Slough slags you want to watch out for... Are they as hard, or as heavily tattoed, as the Skate slags? I think not.
SNSUN Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 Are they as hard, or as heavily tattoed, as the Skate slags? I think not. Pretty much the same, the main difference being that instead of smelling like fish, they smell of Mars chocolate.
Thedelldays Posted 7 November, 2009 Posted 7 November, 2009 Pretty much the same, the main difference being that instead of smelling like fish, they smell of Mars chocolate. lol....or pea fritters..
