Yeah the picture froze, then when it came back the players were celebrating a goal, it was almost like watching ITV! :D

Well off topic but not worth starting a thread over, does anyone know how to cancel the text update thingy? I have tried texting stop to it a few times but they keep sending me scores and team news which I don't need, let alone want. It's costing me a fair bit.

If it's the Orange service text 'southampton goals off' to 177 or you can call them on 277 - I think...!

I had exactly the same. Also the crowd noise was a fraction of a second ahead of the action, so you knew if a goal had gone in from the noise before actually seeing the ball hit the back of the net. Annoying, but still better than nothing I guess.

A good win against decent opposition.

We should have seen the game out and gone on to win 3-0, but a couple of lapses in concentration gave Rovers a sniff and they almost took their chance. Full credit to Paul Trollope's side, they never gave up and pressed us right until the full-time whistle.

Special mention to Connolly and Antonio too! They were both first-class and looked very lively, despite the fact the latter was at fault for their first goal. I'm very much looking forward to seeing who we face in the 2nd round now, and a home tie really wouldn't go a miss!

Thanks Baj.

I was trying to watch it upstairs whilst cooking my tea downstairs. Luckily, the time-delay meant I could hear the goals on solent, run upstairs and see them 'live' just after. Burned my pork chop to buggery, though.

Thanks Baj

Was out last night,so had to keep going outside to check the score.

Can't stop watching the goals and even sounds great in that language!!

Mucho appreciated Baj, only got up at lunch time after a heavy night last night, but already feeling better after watching that ;)

Reading must have a team of world beaters if Antonio can't even get into their reserves . That cut inside and the strength on the ball was something to marvel at.

Am I right in thinking that he is a free agent at the end of the season? He certainly seems to be enjoying himself here and it brings me so much pleasure to see genuine happiness and enjoyment on the pitch from all the players as well the fans as off it.

I'll be walking around with a permanent cheesy grin on my face all weekend.

An old Medieval punishment?

as in .. 'You there serf, if you do not pay your taxes to the Sherriff by midnight, you will suffer cancleing of the textes, and let that be a lesson to you'.

Thanks Baj.

Gotta say the 2nd and 3rd goals were absolute quality. Connolly and Antonio are the real deal. We HAVE to sign Antonio in January - he is going to be a total menace in this league and the CCC.
