Pancake Posted 6 November, 2009 Posted 6 November, 2009 Forking cheap as chips mind. Nothing fancy, only to be used for 'net and media - no gaming. Maybe some scanning an Photoshopping. Need a monitor too. Any ideas?

hamster Posted 6 November, 2009 Posted 6 November, 2009 Stevo, perfect thanks. I concur Pancake, stevo does source some exceedingly good computers at very very good prices too. Never got that webcam working though stevo and couldn't install the driver to adjust the sensitivity of the touchpad.

mdearlove Posted 10 November, 2009 Posted 10 November, 2009 just bought a barebones pc plus 500GB HD, DVD Writer and a fan for the grand total of £215. AMD X2 240 processor, 2GB RAM. Took me about 30 mins to put everything together and kick off the Windows 7 install. Dont need GPU yet as its just for my daughter to surf the web, MSN and play SIMS
