Apologies if it's been posted before (happened a year ago) but this is the first time I've seen it .... and it is simply incredible

Change of underwear situation if there ever was one. :p

Ha Ha Ha LOL at ME ... just read the comments and apparently it is fake ... no wonder I don't recall it happening :(

Anyway it is a bloody good fake then and still makes damn good viewing ;)

Oops lol - however, fear not EoA. If you just set up a nice CCTV system looking at Sharjah ariport, I'm you'll get your own genuine version of this pretty soon.

I hear they have to wear tin hats down there these days due to all the bits falling off dodgy airfreighters.

No sign of my blagged Sound City tkts yet though :grumpysmileything:

But was assured they would be sorted sometime today :-)

Might not need to look as far afield as Sharjah with the Airshow and the pre Airshow practice displays coming up over the next 10 days

lol THAT's why you're busy

Tickets arrived should get there in time for The Farm, Never heard of The Futureheads (sounds like what I deserve when we gat back!) Dives I have heard and then singalong time to Human league.

But tomorrow is the big one really looking forward to it. Mind you, the hoops I have to jump through to save 250 quid!

Loved mates comment - a 3 day Festival in Dubai without herbal remedies - impossible! But true reality!

of course it's a fake. if you believe a plane can fly like that with one wing, you are more than gullible!

It is a highly versatile aerobatic aircraft and the 'model' version of it managed it so in theory it could be possible.

Now explain how a bumble bee flies, apparantly it shouldn't be able to do so or something like that

Are we just keeping this thread going to embarrass Eric?

It would be unfair to point out that Eric has a very important position in this country and that he and his mates are responsible for things landing properly here so I won't, especially as he just discovered there looks like the chance that the local boys can have our own evening with MLT as he is town for the week doing our Sat channel footie and other stuff...

Hey DP are you sure EoA has an important job ? I mean a really really important job would involve

controlling aircraft and an aircraft controller would know that a plane couldn't fly properly with

only one wing.

Hey, this is The Middle East, surely by now our marketing has spread as far as the Pacific, and you should know that down/up here - anything can happen...

Which includes the fact that The History Channel was showing a programme about secret WWII aircraft and voila....

Note the use of the Singular "wing" indicating "flying with one wing"

:D

They were designed to fly with one wing :D the video clip showed a plane with one half broken off, assuming that a wing on each side of the fuselage counts as one wing ?

:smt029

Was just a humourous attack on the fickleness of English on forums....

With the intention of keeping the thread going to remind EoA....

:D
