Howdy all.

Anyone know of a pub in Bristol likely to show the JPT match next Wednesday? Walkabout might I guess. Does anyone know of a better shout? Is there anywhere that attracts Saints fans when we're on?

Many thanks.

I spend my weekends in Bristol (missus at Uni there) and I usually watch football at the Roo Bar down by Clifton Down station.

They've got lots of screens and usually have about three different channels on, so even if it's not on when you go in, I'm sure they'd pop it on one of the screens if you asked nicely.

Failing that, Sloanes on Whiteladies Road is usually decent for sport too.

There used to be Sports Bar i dont know if its still about but it shows pretty much everything. If you take a right after wild cats (which is opposite the fountains near the hippodrome) and walk down that road its on your left. Last time i was there was for the playoffs 1st leg!

You would be very lonely in there as it went bust about 18 months ago.

Are there no trains back to Southampton before Wednesday?

Cheers - I actually know Roo Bar (it smells funny) so don't know why I didn't think of that.

Haha, good one.

Yeah I was confused too. He lives in Southampton but wants to watch it at a pub in Bristol. Huh? :-)

Don't talk about me behind my back. ;)

My "location" is now only occasionally correct (or "wrong" as most people say).
