Johnny Shearer Posted 4 November, 2009 Share Posted 4 November, 2009 Anyone been? If so are they any good? Will be checking both out sooner or later as they'll be something different from the usual fare.

Saint Stimp Posted 5 November, 2009 Share Posted 5 November, 2009 Trago is nice as well, though I'm not really sure whether it knows whether its a cafe or a bar.
Al de Man Posted 5 November, 2009 Share Posted 5 November, 2009 The missus and I went to La Tasca at Gunwharf on Monday and it was excellent. They have an eat-all-you-can deal for a tenner and we were lucky because it only runs from Sunday to Tuesday and before 9pm, but doesn't make that clear on the Website. They were busy and told the wait for a table would be about half an hour but it was over an hour before we were seated, so the manageress gave us a jug of Sangria on the house. Johnny Shearer Posted 5 November, 2009 Author Share Posted 5 November, 2009 Trago Lounge is in Portswood - next door to The Mitre and used to be Pizza Hut. The Mango Thai Tapas Bar is at the top of Beavis Valley, past The Hobbit and lights. Also saw another new place opposite the Thai Bar which looks good as well. Seany S Posted 5 November, 2009 Share Posted 5 November, 2009 Also saw another new place opposite the Thai Bar which looks good as well. The mexican place - a mate of mine had a look in there the other day and said it was excellent. Can't be any worse than the other two mexi options in southampton.
