Excellent.

Honestly, teams must wait until they have us lined up next to do that. They'll obviously have a new one in place for our televised game, ready for the bounce effect.

ffs....is it me or do we get "new" managers against us alot..?

all the flaming time

Colchester made sure they got boothroyd in 2 days before we played them too.

The only new manager I remember winning their first games in charge are Alan Ball, Hoddle & Paul Sturrock the new manager effect doesn't seem to work on us, must be the number of managers we have had.

Will they come back for Dean Wilkins?

Perhaps thats why the return of Jason Dodd?

Not a chance in hell.

Wilkins was ''let go'' by the club as Coach in may by the new chairman.

New manager won't matter. We are a much better side than Brighton and have much more quality than them. Forster looks dangerous but I would expect 3 points.

We don't have that jinx anymore, chill out people !

FWIW, Claridge reckoned that Brighton were one of the favorites for promotion this year, and are massively under achieving this season with quality players!!! (Football League show last night)

They did sign alot of new players in the summer, of decent quality too - so many reckoned they'd be up there, but it just hasn't worked for them.

They used to wait until after we played them and won before sacking their manager. Seems times have changed.

Any names mentioned yet ?

I suppose a return by Coppell would be unlikely.Hope so anyway,or at least until after we have played them.

He wants the job!

Russell Slade, next recruit to the Saint's scouting set-up? But could Brighton poach one of our potential DoF's - Is Coppell too big for them?

Sadly Dennis Wise is listed as favorite for the job. I certainly hope such an appointment won't come back to haunt us.

Can't see it making a difference, Brighton are the sort of team we should batter at home. I'm looking forward to a win on Sky so we can hear the end of the "sky curse" which is a load of rubbish.

+1. Without wanting to sound arrogant we should be beating Brighton 3 or 4 nil at SMS.

Coppell is their target according to The Times.Whilst he may be on their wishlist that may of course be a bit too ambitous for them.
