benjii Posted 2 November, 2009 Share Posted 2 November, 2009 Lallana was awesome in the second half. The guy NEVER stops running. He was pretty good and his work rate is superb, however he did miss two sitters in the match and wasn't involved in the first half much at all (probably not his fault though). Either way, Pardew has achieved so much more with him in a couple of months than we managed for the whole of last year.

derry Posted 2 November, 2009 Share Posted 2 November, 2009 'Gay'- Unfortunately these days the real meaning has because of it's misuse become obscured. Really an inappropriate usurping of a word meaning happy.

SNSUN Posted 2 November, 2009 Share Posted 2 November, 2009 Finally have internet access at home. :-D I said before the game that the only way a draw would be an acceptable result is if we go a couple of goals down and pull it back. We did, so we can't be too disappointed with this result. A bit of a break now due to the cup competitions, hopfully we can keep the momentum going. Jack Posted 2 November, 2009 Share Posted 2 November, 2009 So unlucky to be 2 goals down, looked like it wasn't going to be our day, but a spirited fightback. Cracking second half of football, it's not often that we've seen a Saints side so dominant for such long periods. I was exhausted at full time.
