the saint in winchester Posted 31 October, 2009 Share Posted 31 October, 2009 Antonio and Connolly on at half time please mr pardew Do we send them on at start of 2nd half? Or give them another 15 mins, then unleash the power for the final 30??
S-Clarke Posted 31 October, 2009 Share Posted 31 October, 2009 4-4-2 in the 2nd half for me... take off Wotton (or hammond if hes not 100%) and put on Connolly. Leave it a bit and see how it pans out, before bringing on Antonio. ah, it's easy this management malarkey.

Can't see Connelly playing more than 20-25 mins at the mo.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 31 October, 2009 Share Posted 31 October, 2009 Merrington reckons Saints have dominated all the play. Mmm, doesn't sound too much like that. I agree with whoever said Hammond is carrying an injury - he'll be off with Mellis on around 65-75mins I would imagine.
SaintRobbie Posted 31 October, 2009 Share Posted 31 October, 2009 This league is weird - how come Orient are presenting us with a problem, yet Dons collapsed? Its a game of 2 halves... we'll win.
hutch Posted 31 October, 2009 Share Posted 31 October, 2009 Who came out with that, Merrington? The other one

Don't panic! We'll be OK.

Saint Fan CaM Posted 31 October, 2009 Share Posted 31 October, 2009 Hope the 3k fans keep up a barrage of sound for the team throughout the 2nd half. Could make all the difference.
trousers Posted 31 October, 2009 Share Posted 31 October, 2009 Do we send them on at start of 2nd half? Or give them another 15 mins, then unleash the power for the final 30?? I never understand the 'tradition' of waiting until 15 mins before changing things. Apart from last week of course! Change it now I say!
alpine_saint Posted 31 October, 2009 Share Posted 31 October, 2009 Reckon we are on a hiding to nothing in this game, for some bizarre reason. Seems like Saints of old today....
.comsaint Posted 31 October, 2009 Share Posted 31 October, 2009 wasnt connelly doubtful before the game anyway? It was an elbow problem so shouldn't be too much of a problem. Hammond on the other hand is carrying a slight hamstring problem - but I take it he's fit enough for the game or surely Pards would've said sit this one out?!?! Just commenting on the radio commentary about Hammond and agreeing with someone else's comment knowing as we do that he was 50/50 to play.

You would think so - dunno, perhaps he's fit enough to play (via pain killer injection?), but not at 'peak' fitness?
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 31 October, 2009 Share Posted 31 October, 2009 Ok , How do we all feel now we have had a few minute to think? Will we do the business or continue to be frustrated? An early equaliser and we will be on our way.. If we don`t who knows how it will pan out COYS
