Let's get this started

I fully expect saints to win.... Not because we 'should beat them for being saints and them being orient" I fully expect to win as we are right on form and seem to be taking no prisoners now

a draw would not be the end of the world and would be ok. But right now I expect us to win this one.

2-0 to Saints. Lallana and trotman

I wonder what the odds are for that to happen again?

Could probably win quite a bit if it did.

I'm really looking forward to this match, I just have a vibe at the moment, and I haven't had it since 2006(I think that was the year) when we were in the playoffs. I think we can win this, just hope our october form can continue on into november because we have a bit of a break after this I believe(anyone know why?). We can't let momentum break down during this break or we are back to square one.

1-0 Saints with Connolly grabbing an 87th minute winner.

Can't wait for this, my weekend starts tomorrow morning at 10am at my local Wetherspoons then into London.

i think we will have a blip, traditional saints style, in a game we should win ...after all, we are used to losing when we are spose to win, and winning when we are spose to lose, its what saints do so well, so im gonna put us down for a draw i think ..

1 - 1 or 2 - 2

with schneiderlin to score, so get your money on him!

I am not allowed to predict a win/score as when I did last year it went horribly wrong and we lost.

This season, when I posted that I felt POSITIVE, however, we have won.

So, this week,

I am feeling positive! :D:D:D:D

They should be very high with both Connolly and Hammond only rated 50/50 to play

Also the way we are playing ... ONLY 3-1 .....fat chance !!!!

This is a home match really!!! I can see Papa fluking a last minute leveller. I will be happy with a draw as a loss would be a real body blow. Best get your bets on in a bookies as I do not think the home end sorry away end has betting facilities?

We all have great expectations tomorrow - and the players must not feel under any pressure. In days gone by expectations killed our team's ability to continue with good form.

I somehow get the feeling that the current team concentrate on doing their job - rather than listen to the crowd and what the press say - I just hope they listen to Pardew and the changed tactics to win at Brisbane Road? I believe they ned to just play their way and dominate the game from the start. Sure Orient will try to throw everyhting but the kitchen sink at us in the first 10-minutes - shock horror we should be 2-up by then!

Can't make tomorrow - but good luck to all those 3000+ fans making it a day out to remember. Heart says another win - but common sense says we are due to be knocked off our perch!

He stands at nearly six foot three...

Mmm, think we are due to lose as I didn't start the match build-up thread! ;)

Seriously though, this is a tough one to call as we may be missing a couple of key players and in particular Hammond. Having said that if the 3000 Saints supporters don't intimidate the locals I will be surprised and for that reason I will say Orient 1 Saints 2.

COYS!

Really looking forward to the game tmw, my first away match of the season. I always get worried when Saints are on a good run and expected to win, that's inevitably when we throw it away and put in a stinking performance. We just look to be a bit tougher so far this season. I'm going for a 2-1 win, Papa and Jaidi

I'm a bit worried about missing Hammond to be honest. I hadn't realised he was injured actually, but I should have realised after seeing him doing recuperation work in the pool with Murty and Connolly the other day.

You can get 3300 -1 on another 3-1 win with the same scorers in the same order.

Worth a tenner??

Depends on the team, can you place that sort of bet at the bookies in the ground? (If there even is one).

If we do win then we would equal the clubs consecutive away wins record set in 1991/2

And i think 6 wins in a row in all comps would also be a club record but am not 100% sure.

Hi there - this is a bit random but very Orient related.

A few weeks ago some of my mates went to the bookies whilst I was in the pub toilet and placed a seven man accumulator - £5 each, they all picked a team. It came in and they pocketed over £200 each - leaving me numb at missing out. We are all going to the game tomorrow but they won't let me join the accumulator as they feel I may upset the karma of the magic 7. Do a few fellow saints wish to join me in joining a breakaway super 7 - we all pick a team and put a fiver in - and share the winnings at full time.

Just seen this:

Now is it just me or does that seem a little odd? Surely if he's from IOW he must be either a Saints fan or a skate?!

That's a very strange choice of official for this game, as rumour has it he has a soft spot for saints!

I'm pretty sure he came on as substitute ref when we played cardiff at home in 06/07, and allowed a dubious goal of theirs to stand.

Hopefully he will be impartial (as he should be) but something tells me he will go the other way, and give plenty of decisions to Orient just so that people don't pinpoint his location as to reasons why we would get any favourable decision. This was very much the feeling amongst us when he refereed the cardiff game towards the end. Also loves to get his cards out at every opportunity to show who's in charge.

Was the ref when swansea had 3 sent off earlier on this season in the carling cup. This news doesn't fill me with much confidence to be honest. Fairly arrogant guy too from what i've heard, but then what ref's arent?

. Also loves to get his cards out at every opportunity

Apart from the Swansea game, he seems to be very low on yellow card rate, averages about 2 per game according to soccerbase.

Comes from Newport, so difficult to say if he is more likely to be Saints or Skates, if he was from Ryde then I would be more worried.

http://www.refworld.com/referee/179/1

"I was released from a club at the age of 15 because I was not strong enough to play in adult football and at the level I intended to play at."

I hope he isn't one of these referees who 'almost made it but didn't' and so strut around the field like a little Hitler showing their authority because they are bitter about not making it.

I also hope the fact he has a soft spot for Saints means he'll be biased in our favour. I know it's cheating but sod it, think of all the sh!te refs and bad luck we have had recently.

Fair enough then, on the card front. I just remember that game and another harsh red card he gave last season at Dagenham or somewhere that's all. Hopefully those were one offs!

I understood, many years ago now, that the ref had to live at least 60 miles away from the town/city that either of the teams he was officiating came from.

Unless my geography is all to pot that doesn't apply in this case by a long stretch.

So was that rule scrapped ? Will we see the Liverpool/Everton derbies ref'd by a Scouser or a Utd/City one ref'd by a Manc ?

I think not.
