Rumour has it that the wages could be delayed again this month too (due friday...)

oh and their new owner won't be able to make it to the game on Saturday, due to ''middle eastern'' commitments.

Probably looking for a get out clause somewhere.

But surely they cant keep delaying the wages every month? If I was a pompey player I would be pretty ****ed off.

I don't know whats funnier, the fact they have a transfer embargo or the fact they are trying to sign league 2 rejects to "improve" the quality of their squad. "Lets all lol at pompey, lets all Lol at Pompey la la la la" :-D

Well they may have found the money by now, but it's still a very close call (again).

TBH i just think they're delaying the inevitable, they should just take the 9 point hit now and have done with it.

Not sure how they are going to find a decent owner. The amount required just to keep the fans happy will be huge and they will never see a return. It makes no sense. Compare that to the 12 million for saints and everything you got for your money and it looks even worse.

In a way I feel sorry for them.

I don’t want them to succeed, I do want them to fail to the point where we become the "dominant" force in the south again, but I don’t want them to go bust or out of business...

I’d prefer them to fail catastrophically because of the awful football they play, not because of their impotent business sense... that’s already been done once on the south, all the same if this nudges them just below us & that’s where their deterioration ends... so be it.

Football would be nothing without derby games & banter...

Oh come on, if they ended up playing in the Blue Square Premier it would be funny as f*ck, regardless of how it came about.

We've only played them something like 10 times in the last 40 odd years, so I don't think it would be missed that much!
