warsash saint Posted 27 October, 2009 Share Posted 27 October, 2009 Gotta go to the o2 later this week & was wondering the best route ? I need to go up mid morning so would need to miss central London & thus avoid congestion charge. Mate has suggested M25 then in on the A2 but this seems a long way round. Any advise

Saint Keith Posted 27 October, 2009 Share Posted 27 October, 2009 ive been there a few times, always use the A2 or A20 way in. it is much much quicker than going through town

RonManager Posted 27 October, 2009 Share Posted 27 October, 2009 I used the river boat shuttles from the Embankment to O2 for the Charlton game. Enjoyably different and there is a bar on board. Cost £4.00 ish.

swannymere Posted 27 October, 2009 Share Posted 27 October, 2009 When i went to see Led Zeppelin i pre-booked a parking space for £20 and walked the 5-10mins or so to the 02. To get there i drove up the A3, anti-clockwise round the M25 and then in on the A2. After the gig i was home in 90 mins. If you want a drink then train is the best option.
