Just seen on SSN that he has been playing reserve football for bolton all season.

 

Possibly a player to target in january. Most probably as a loan though! If trotman does get called back to preston then possibly ****tu could be one to ask about?

****tu and jaidi at centre-back...I for one would not want to play against that.

 

If ****tu likes it here too and we get promoted then maybe steve wigley will do his old club a favour and we could have him next year to if not permanent then on loan again??

 

Please let me know if I'm getting carried away!!? The sky is the limit for saints right now so why not continue to aim big and try to get the best possible players available to us?

unlikely as he is 29 (peak of his career for a centre back) so will surely to go a CCC team which is his level

jaidi is 34 so was always more likely to sign for us

If we can keep the results going and the playoffs become a very real possibility by January who knows. Quality players may just fancy it.

I wrote suggesting him when he was available previously. Of course, when a Prem club came in, he wanted that. But, as expected, he hasn't made their first team, so hopefully he may be looking to get some games.

Agree your suggestion that if we can't keep Trotman, he would be an alternative.

I didn`t realised that he worked in a shipyard before he turned professional.

It's a long shot, but I think he's a great player, and he CDAJFU no doubt!

Another good target could be Ibrahima Sonko from Stoke, I think they're looking to replace him with someone else in January because he's not been playing well so far this season. I think he's punching slightly above his weight in the Prem, but he was a revelation for Reading in the CCC and L1 (I think he played for them in L1). Ask any Reading supporter for their opinion on him and they'll give you a glowing review. Sign him up Pards!

In fact, sign both of them up, because Jaidi won't last much longer than another season or two before he starts to fall apart, he is 34 bear in mind. Sonko and Sh*ttu at the back would certainly soil the shorts of a few FL attackers!

Talking of centre backs the lad King at Gillingham is worth a look IMO. He didn't play against us as he is on his way back from a serious injury but he was top class last season.
