Yup, 100% true. Will be a big queue though.

Unless anyone has a spare on here, of course.

Even if you can't get a ticket' date=' sit in the home fans, I'm sure there'll be others in there.[/quote']

What stand should fans buy for? I checked the LO site and can't see a stadium plan.

I am unlikely to go at this stage, but IF in the middle of the night/morning of the game someone has 2 tickets that they desperatley need to get rid of and I am online, PM me. I will find a good home for them, and will even be able to offer a free lift plus face value.

I appreciate that there is a pecking order here and am only throwing my hat in the ring if someone is pushed for time.

More than 150 at 08.15, so was not worth staying

Interesting thread on their forum...

I can see many ticketless fans heading up there... I certainly will be in the hope of picking up a spare.... if not, looks like we will have to find a pub to stay in and watch through Soccer Saturday!

I only need 1 ticket now. It appears my child support payment has covered the cost of a Tenerife holiday for my boy, the old dog and her jobless boyfriend.

Just go in the home end, east stand. They might not throw you out, but move you into the Saints end as there are empty seats there they're not selling.

And can I have a link to their forum please :)

thanks for the update - they sold out in 20 minutes. If anyone has a spare I'll happily take it off their hands right up to kick off really as I'll be in London village.

There are no home fans in the East Stand. Stop making things up.

I was thinking of doing this.

I do hope the same interest will be shown for all other away games this season and this isn't just everyone jumping on the bandwagon of a few good results and an "easy" day out.

Of course it won't be.

There will only be around 400 of us at Hartlepool and I can tell you now, there won't be demand for tickets like this, when we play Millwall.

Good point, next Saturday away game is Walsall Dec 5th given current interest we should be taking at least 2,000 up there, given we are taking 3,250 + to Orient and had over 900 at Carlisle and Oldham.

I would think 400 for a midweek 600 mile-round trip in League One wouldn't be so bad (tho think we may well exceed that).

As for Millwall, we'll probably only get a couple of thousand tickets and who could blame 'families' giving it a wide berth - leave more tickets for us hardier soles!

So far this season we've taken around 1k to games up north, over 3k midweek to Swindon and similar to Charlton. From our starting position I think that's pretty commendable and anyways 'more fans in wanting to follow a winning side' shocker!

I wondered how long it would be before the uber fans started this line.

Who cares about this i am a better fan the u bollix. I will generally go to 6 or 7 away games per season and have done for twenty five years.

I also have had a season ticket since 1978 even though i missed many home games in the 80s and 90s due to playing football myself but so what.

Stu please accept my most sincere apologies and forgive me before the mods see that I have insulted yet another fellow poster an award me some more infraction points

you'll find about 50 of those will actually travel from Southampton and the rest will live up norf.

20 London Saints going to Hartlepool, hotel already booked for overnight stay, I think we'll actually get a good turn out of 500+ for this game.

By the way Orient's official site has lots of information regarding tickets for Saturday, if you haven't bee able to get a tcket from Saints.

meh, London's half way there. Some of us have a proper journey to get to the game.

cheers. I have a ticket, but I'm looking for an extra one for a mate in London. He won't want to sit with the home fans.

I know it's a long shot but I'm after 1 or 2 extra tickets. Will pay face value and pick them up whenever is convenient, in and around Southampton or in London.

Methinks you protest too much sir! F**k knows why you feel the need to tell us how long you've been supporting Saints. Orient does seem like a lot of people are jumping on a bit of a bandwagon, its great we're taking lots of support to an away game, would just be nice to see that same enthusiasm for some of the less popular games.

At Orient in the away stand along the side of the pitch there's a batch of seating in the middle. I think these seats don't get sold so we will have fans in either half of the stand but not down the middle which will seem a bit weird. Also, there's a few rows at the front of the stand that don't get sold either. The whole stand holds 3,600 and I don't see why our allocation is only 3,250.

The middle bit is the old directors box. I think (could be wrong) that is where the extra 150 tickets came from. They don't sell the whole stand because it is non-allocated seating and need a certain amount of slack to allow everyone to be able to find seats.

I agree with the point but personally dont care if they have jumped on the bandwagon, are dyed in the wool thick and thin long sufferers, brand new supporters who are clueless about away matches or people who just fancy that Leyton might be a nice part of the world to visit for a day. Welcome all!

So all the people who bought the last 150 tickets need to dress in suits.

It's more akin to the directors box at the Dell than that at St Mary's, so probably best smart casual. ;)

There's also seating at the front of the stand that I don't think they're selling. Although Charlton had the bottom rows filled up when they went there this season, so I'm not sure.
