RedWillie Posted 26 October, 2009 Author Posted 26 October, 2009 Watch the copper in the very first clip behind AP when the goal is scored - must be an WHU fan...!
Glasgow_Saint Posted 26 October, 2009 Posted 26 October, 2009 I wonder if we will get any loans from Arsenal? Not likely..........
S-Clarke Posted 26 October, 2009 Posted 26 October, 2009 I wonder if we will get any loans from Arsenal? Not likely.......... That van persie fella looks quite handy, him and Vela on loan in january please pards.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 26 October, 2009 Posted 26 October, 2009 That van persie fella looks quite handy, him and Vela on loan in january please pards. Get real S-Clarke! Van Persie is a 1st team regular and international.....why would he drop down to L1?
Colinjb Posted 26 October, 2009 Posted 26 October, 2009 That van persie fella looks quite handy, him and Vela on loan in january please pards. They have a youngster called Wallcut or something. Plays on the right, bit nippy. If Bonio goes back to Reading and we can't resign him then surely we should make enquiries.
RonManager Posted 26 October, 2009 Posted 26 October, 2009 Get real S-Clarke! Van Persie is a 1st team regular and international.....why would he drop down to L1? Because he would realise that Saints are going places, whereas L'Arsenal are yesterday's chip paper and are on a slow decline that will see them playing in the SE Counties League within 5 sesons, you mark my words..

Gigersaint Posted 26 October, 2009 Posted 26 October, 2009 I forgot about this spat Wenger had, and that it was Pardew, what a bad loser Wenger can be. I vaguely remember thinking that at the time too. I don't know if there was a bit of previous history between the two as I can't remember that either but throughout a season you often see Managers giving it the "Get in there" celebration on the touchline... including Wenger sometimes too. Martin O'Neil when at Leicester is always one that sticks in my mind, although he seems so much more serious these days. I love seeing Managers getting behind the team and showing their spirit when they score goals unlike the opposite end of the scale where Rafa Benitez can't even muster a smile beating Man Utd in the biggest game of the football calander... miserable sod. :smt075
chrisobee Posted 26 October, 2009 Posted 26 October, 2009 I'm sure that clip was shown when AP was appointed, one good reason why I liked him right from the outset!

I don't know, didn't O'Neil get so involved he tackled one of the opposing side a few weeks back ! Fell flat on his backside but he tried!!
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 26 October, 2009 Posted 26 October, 2009 Just watched the 'absolutely raped him clip' on related videos, forgot about that- absolute classic from AP.

Superb... Why didn't Anelka get sent off... he clearly didn't even get the ball. Poor old O'Neil getting a nasty scraze on his elbow.
